Good signing for them, a natural goalscorer with more dynamism than giroud.

Let's hope we get our targets as there aren't many forwards that were gettable and he was one of them......

Think he might well be a better signing than Moratta.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. Lyon finished fourth for example and still managed to beat Roma quite convincingly in the Europa League.
Dzeko had an onside goal disallowed in the second leg which would have seen Roma through.

Napoli gave Real Madrid a surprisingly tough fight, more than the 6-2 scoreline would suggest.

Overall, Serie A > Ligue 1.

Not that he isn't a good player but definitely not the type of striker in a JM's formation. Unless we plan to play him as a wide player, then surely we have to sell some of our existing options which are Mata, Mkhitaryan, Rashford and Martial. Our priorities are obviously with other positions this season.

Has it been officially confirmed? Knowing Rooney, might be leaving, any chance we can throw in a last min offer?

Great price for Great player in the context of this hyper-inflated market. Cant believe Arsenal got him for that price (think of how Lyon could replace him with that amount of money)

I think he will do well, he's certainly an upgrade on Giroud/Welbeck/Perez up front.

Arsenal's season will depend on Alexis though, they wont be able to replace him with the same quality if he leaves and they were very poor without him last season.

Surprised they attracted Lacazette without C/L, given that he was all set for A.Madrid before the transfer ban. Surely he would have got a move to a club in the C/L??

Could easily be the signing of the summer. I thought we should have been in for him after Atletico's transfer ban was upheld and his deal with them was thrown out.
