Someone really should look at the numbers, btw - I'm pretty sure some of the totals are wrong. Doesn't matter now, but as the money is carried over into the first reinforcement round, it's best to keep score properly.

I give up on the caf and its draft sensibilities. heathens you all are, not appreciating players of true brilliance like Le Tissier :(

Le Tissier isn't a very adaptable player, so to speak. For my money you play him behind the striker, not as a so-called No 10, but as a second striker. He's like King Kenny in that regard. It's a role which suits a 4-4-2 more than anything. You can pretend he was Platini, of course, and probably get away with it - as people tend to have a highly romanticized view of Le Tissier (understandable, he was great and he played for an unfashionable team) - but he was no Platini: He didn't run the shop, playmaker style - he wasn't that sort of player.

He's a vote puller, though, I've no doubt - so in that sense it's surprising nobody went for him.

Agree, I still have some Saints season videos from when Shearer was coming through. They were so good together I actually bought Southampton seasons in VHS

Stob got Teddy though, and I can't really argue with that TBH.

Was going to post the same! I thought about him early on and I would been surprised to see him go here unless it was for a team playing 4-4-2. Even then there was so much competition for those two forward roles that he'd always be picked only if someone really liked him.

The real definition of luxury player. I think "a luxury player" isn't something negative per se, it is something situational. If you have that extra work rate and physicality provided elsewhere you may be best off with a luxury player.

Just decide whether number 1 plays number 2 first - or if x plays y first. Doens't even have to be randomized as it is of no value.

So you need an order for the games within the groups? That's it? 1-2, 1-3, 2-3 are the options right?

There were 3 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

  1. 1-2
  2. 1-3
  3. 2-3
Timestamp: 2014-11-28 10:52:00 UTC
So that's that. Of course, the order is the same for all groups. The order within the groups was already decided by the previous draw?

So we have:

Group A: 1. Gio, 2. Stobzilla 3. Crappy
Game 1: Gio - Stobzilla
Game 2: Gio - Crappy
Game 3: Stobzilla - Crappy

Group B: 1. Annah, 2. SirAF, 3. Raees
Game 1: Annah - SirAF
Game 2: Annah - Raees
Game 3: SirAF - Raees

Group C: 1. Skizzo, 2. Lynk, 3. Chesterle
Game 1: Skizzo - Lynk
Game 2: Skizzo - Chesterle
Game 3: Lynk - Chesterle

Group D: 1. MJJ, 2. Barney, 3. EAP
Game 1: MJJ - Barney
Game 2: MJJ - EAP
Game 3: Barney - EAP

Matchday 1 starts with the following four games:
Group A, Game 1: Gio - Stobzilla
Group B, Game 1: Annah - SirAF
Group C, Game 1: Skizzo - Lynk
Group D, Game 1: MJJ - Barney
