I would like to bring to your attention an important update to the site rules.

RedCafe.net is dependent on advertising revenue to meet its running costs. Recently, our advertising partners have become stricter about what content their ads are placed beside. In a nutshell, family unsafe content is frowned upon. Therefore, we have updated our rules to reflect these new requirements.

Content that is strictly prohibited:
  • Excessive swearing (read more about this below)
  • Violent or gruesome content
  • Adult or mature content
  • Images or videos containing full or partial nudity
  • Copyright protected material
  • Drugs or drug paraphernalia
I would ask that you review the new rules and please do your best to abide by them, especially in the football forums where the majority of ads are shown. As always, if you come across any violations of these rules please use the ‘Report’ function to let the moderators now.

One other change to be aware of relates to excessive swearing. From here on in the words ‘feck’ and ‘cnut’ will be automatically modified to ‘fcuk’ and ‘cnut’. These alternate words have actually been in use by many people on the site for years so they should be familiar to you all. The simple fact is, there is far too much profanity on here and this is a necessary step to try and reduce it. One swear word in a single post isn’t excessive, but when every post on a page has a swear word, it is. So please try and make a concerted effort to not swear in your posts....you filthy mouthed cnuts! ;)

I don't want these new rules to interfere with your enjoyment of the site and in truth they are really just a solidifying of rules we already have. Therefore it should be business as usual for most of you. However, if you are breaking any of these rules, you'll be more likely to hear from your friendly neighbourhood moderators :)

Thanks for your understanding.

This is our big opportunity to get creative with our language in a family friendly way. Expletives are so common anyway.

Poor Penna won't be able to unleash hell once every few weeks. Her tagline is going to be ruined...

Might it be time to create a private general or something, like the newbs and hidden away from public view? Tell google we're all in the FF sipping tea and telling Kevin we respectfully disagree with whatever it is he's said this time, but actually have us hurling siht at eachother in the most underground party the site has seen.

Starting to strongly dislike the amount of control google is having over websites. So much for freedom of speech.

True. It's ironic considering that's where almost everyone goes for their porn.
