There's Ihatteren also who's apparently been playing RW in preseason. Until new reports come out thay Ajax are lowering their price I'm no getting my hopes up no matter how many RWs they sign
Don't expect Ajax to just significantly lower the price. Ajax has no reason to. Ajax still don't want to sell, he still has a 3 year deal and Ajax would want him to have a cracking season here before he's sold. Nevertheless, with Ajax getting other attackers in and Ihattaren doing well in preseason, Ajax might be less reluctant to do a deal than a few weeks ago. But that's not the same as Ajax wanting to sell. With a 3 year deal left, CL and a WC coming up which can really significantly increase his value, Ajax will be looking for a huge fee yet again.
Ajax stood firm regarding Martinez and will do the same regarding Antony. As said, with the new attacking players being brought in and Ihattaren doing well in pre-season, Ajax may be a bit more open to the idea. However, that doesn't mean Ajax will be looking to sell for a soft price at all. Ajax can easily wait another year before selling him for a reasonable price and if Antony explodes in CL/WC Ajax can get a huge price next year as well. As Ajax may be open to the idea a little more, I can see Ajax drop it's price to around €75m including add-ons. That's still a lot of money of course, but Ajax don't want/have to sell.
Nevertheless, as I said earlier, I can see this deal happening if you manage to sell Ronaldo. I can see that free-ing up space to do one more big transfer. As there are no top class strikers available, I can see you going for Antony in that case, since Ten Hag really likes him.
