Anyone interested in next month's For Honor game?

Been playing the beta and bought it. Not my normal type of game but good for a quick fix. I am not convinced that it has longevity - they will need to regularly add more classes and game modes to keep it fresh I think.

The beta was/is good fun for an hour or two, but the long-term longevity is an issue for me like @Walrus states.

But I'm far more of a single player campaign-man with games like this rather than MP. If it is big like you say, @RedSky, I'll probably give it a whack. When is the official release date? Will wait for a playthrough on YouTube to see the first hour or so of the game, or some full reviews.

Valentines day I believe.

Was going to get this but think am going with Sniper Elite 4 - which is also released tomorrow.

Picked this up today as I was impressed by the beta, shall be playing later on.

Longevity is only really an issue if the gameplay loses it's luster pretty quickly. Rocket League & Fifa prove that as long as the gameplay is fun, 5-15 minute burst session games can be enjoyed for years on end.

I'm enjoying a lot, the rounds never last long enough to feel like a slog and never short enough that you can't get yourself properly ready. The combat system is very different to what else is out there. You got the game ?.

https://www.reddit.com/r/forhonor/comments/5tznep/you_have_to_try_the_story_mode_no_spoilers/ Apparently campaign is 3 chapters, and it's about 5-10 hours worth of gameplay - stretching to the higher amount if you're playing on a hard difficulty.

Bit disappointed with that.
Not started the campaign myself but I will be doing it on the hardest difficulty. Its really all about the multiplayer which is fantastic and can be real nail biting stuff in some tight matches.

I quite like it in one or two hour spells. The single player is ok but the multiplayer is where it excels imo.

I can definitely see myself putting it to one side after a month or so.

Online? This doesnt bode well.

The only online morpg that does well is wow. The rest is crap and slowly withered.

Remember age of conan? Lawl.

But in seriousness wow is light years ahead in content, gameplay and community.

Shit thing about beat em up versus game is that you're either shit at it ane button mashing or you're super leet that you can chain combo noob to their demise...

I'd stay away from this kinds of game. Remembering myself going against this kid in arcade on a tekken game where he beat the shit out of me with flawless combo i dont even get to press a button.... And in the interest there's always that lifeless punk who'll be investing his life for thst game and become so uber...
