Every chance that Liverpool won't slip up at all. There definitely should have been a far better balance struck between keeping the back door shut and attempting to win the game. I'd be surprised if that point is enough come the end of the season and the conservative nature of it, rubs salt into the wound.

If Liverpool win every game until the end of the season, then they deserve to be champions. You can look back at every single game you've dropped points in, analyse and wonder if you could have done more. We've dropped points vs Fulham twice, Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea, Villa, Liverpool, West Ham. All will have some sort of regret, especially the home games vs Fulham & West Ham.
We'd won 8 games in a row to get to the top of the league there, 9 if we'd have beaten City. With 9 games left, your basically saying win 18 games in a row will help you win the league. If only it was that easy eh?

They ended up giving City a chance to catch up on goals too in the end. Should have kept things tight in my opinion...but yes they were always going to struggle.
It's probably true what people say they have the toughest run in but it's really not that frightening on paper, and neither is Liverpool's or City's. Arsenal will be at home to Chelsea, they'll play United on the penultimate game of the season where we'll probably have nothing to play for, the only tricky games that stand out are Spurs away and maybe Wolves away who are a weird team to predict.

This is true but surely someone will drop points in a ‘gimme’ - whether Arsenal, City or Liverpool. I’m not having the three of them winning every single game until the end of the season. It’s so demanding, particularly when all three are competing in other competitions. The pressure will surely tell for one if not two.

They are annoyingly very very impressive. You have to give Arteta enormous credit, whether they win the title or not. He’s proven he’s an excellent coach.

The progress the club has made under him is clear to see. Add a prolific striker to the mix and this side is very scary. They’re already so impressive as it is.

If you don't beat us this round, you never will. The team is in total disarray. Can't remember a worse Bayern team since the dark times of Klinsmann. I think we were 4:0 down to Barcelona within 40 min.

Yeah, everyone rightly talks about the rebuild Klopp did when you compare his first Liverpool team to his champions league winning team but i have to give Arteta massive credit for making Arsenal serious again. Look at his first line up as manager:

It's not as bad as Klopp's first line up but it reminds me of some of our teams in the past few years: some star names but it's pretty crappy and flatters to deceive. The board did a great job in getting rid of them even though a few were controversial decisions.

Safe to say there well over the Wenger Era. Not took them nowhere near aslong as us after Fergie retired… they’ll challenge for the title every season I believe now, they’ll eventually win 1 even if it’s not this year. There set up nicely with a young hungry team… a few more additions in certain positions and they’ll be world beaters.
It’s interesting how in a relatively short space of time, they have done what United have been unable to do or look anything like being able to do. It wasn’t that many years ago where both clubs were on a par, both big footballing institutions post super managers. United still can’t move on whilst Arsenal have managed to reborn themselves under a very impressive young coach. I scratch my head and ask how have they done it yet we still look a million miles away??
There are some crazy Arsenal fans who think that too. Whenever I argue with Arsenal fans about Arsenal, I always find myself defending Arteta from his own fans. It’s quite bizarre actually how he’s still got doubters despite overseeing a very impressive rebuild and turning them into what, a top 5-6 team in Europe.
Arteta is going all the way to the top. When he replaces Pep at City is anyone's guess but nailed on, it is.

I was arguing someone today who was saying if Arsenal go trophyless we need to have uncomfortable conversations about Arteta. I was like what if you get to the CL final and lose 1-0 and lose the title on the final day by 1 point. He was like that’s a failure and I realised fundamentally I just view football differently to some people.
