Brentford’s goal was offside and also came from a free kick where Toney was fouling Saliba more than Saliba was fouling him.

Having said that, Brentford had plenty of good chances.

That’s the second match running where we’ve conceded to an opposition set piece. Our record defending set pieces was exceptional before that, so whatever our specialist coach was doing in that area, I hope he rediscovers his magic touch.

We’re still playing fairly well, though, so I’m not overly worried. We aren’t actually in all that bad form, so if we continue to play well the result will return.

We could really do with Jesus coming back to unlock tight defences. Nketiah is great against teams who come out to play against us. That’s why he did well in our run of “harder” fixtures. But games like Brentford at home and Everton away suit Jesus more. We need his dribbling skills to find a chink in well-organised teams who sit deep and concede possession.

After this weeks revelation, I think most would much rather City win the league as we all know it’s not a valid succes anyway.

The longer the season goes United’s defeat at Brentford doesn’t even look that bad.

Good team!

Well since I don’t know single City fan in real life and their online presence is nonexistent, I will always, always want them to win the title, unless they’re competing against us.

I’ve said it before, but being someone who lives and travels around manchester often, I can count on one hand how many proper city fans I know.

So funny seeing Arsenal fans getting offended if someone dares to predict City winning the league, they could be 2nd as soon as Wednesday

They are confirming that they will make an official complaint to the PL about Brentford's goal. What will that achieve?

Thought they were bit lucky when ref called foul on Brentford player when Gabriel flopped to ground, it was soft and it's sort of contact that happens all the time in game.

I love how the narrative in the media and majority of arsenal fans this morning is that they didn’t drop points yesterday because they were poor and Brentford on the balance of the game deserved at least a point.. no, it’s because VAR robbed them.

Tiny cracks are starting to appear.

Yeah, I came to post basically this. They get to hide behind the VAR stuff, and shift focus away from the performance. I don't know if that's a positive or a negative for them.

City are rattled too with the allegations against them this week. They will feel its them vs the world. On the other side Arsenal are Arsenal and therefore its obvious how this is going to turn out.

They will do these teams very easily. Brentford was a blip.

Brentford was just a blip. They will comfortably beat City.
Both were blips. They will do City very easily.
No chance, absolutely 0 chance Brentford take anything from Arsenal.
I said the same for the Everton game and was wrong only by a miracle.
I'm not sure, what are City's chances against Arsenal?

City win their next 2 games and they are up 3 pts having played 2 games more. That’s even without having one of their customary 10+ wins hot streak.

Arse have looked pretty vulnerable since the Newcastle draw but for the United game, and that could’ve easily been a draw or loss too, playing only a match per week. Sadly, the step up they made this season seems only an improvement from post-Wenger ineptitude to late Wenger era February customary choking.

We'll probably finish above this lot. It's in their post Wenger DNA to bottle these situations. Only worry is the post Fergie DNA is hardly gleaming too.

How exactly was Everton a miracle?

Going by your predictions City will batter them.
Bruh, read between the lines.
I'm been trying to pull off the biggest jinx I ever can in the hopes we catch them.
Its fairly obvious.
