Been defending Pogba consistently but even my bullshit meter is starting to go off a bit now.

I think we'll be lucky to get even half that at this point.Pogba is off this month I reckon. A shame but I hope we get £200m for the man.
You just can't get away from your bias for english players. Defending Lingard is something else, but now we are praising players who want to play for our team, that's gotta be a new low.Yet we beat Spurs and City with him.
Tell you what be good, if the whole caf would stop moaning about what's happened and get behind the players that can actually be bothered to turn up and play for us.
That’s not what I was trying to say, we’ve enough out there to win the game and if we don’t it’ll be down to the 11 lads who have started.Already a scapegoat if we lose then.
It is bemusing how Lingard gets to play games for us.I expected a player that hasn't contributed any goals or assists in 30 league games to not be the focal point of our attack.
There is no good way of looking at it.Whatever happens this isn't good news.
He's either;
Refusing to play.
Ankle is injured again even after he thought it was OK
Potential transfer lined up and he might be leaving
Fallen out with Ole/club.
I just don't know what to think right now. It's a real mess.
I agree, but it'll have nothing to do with our result tonight.Story is fishy you must admit.
In fairness, it would be stupid of Ole to go into anything Pogba related 1 hour before kick off. Need to focus on the game and the 3 points. He is an idiot. He thinks we are idiots and keep believing his bs?? Feck off Ole and say the truth
I do, too. But the guy has been useless for almost a year now.Hope Jesse shuts some doom mongers up
Didn't expect a Kolasinac return, nor for him to start all of Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang and Ozil in the same lineup. It's as full strength as they've been all season bar an argument for Martinelli. You expected them to field a weakened XI?
The bloke is a tool. Not sure how he gets to be seen as a mouthpiece for the fans of this club. From the world's most unreliable, but passionate, loud-mouth, for what it's worth:

@tonnas, you have a date.Stick your hand up my bum and call me Sooty if you want, sweet cheeks.
Starting Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil and Pepe is something they haven't managed all season, it's certainly a surprise and it's going to be difficult to defend with our defensive record.Would expect them to play with as strong a lineup as possible.
Yeah, most of us feel the same way.Whatever happens this isn't good news.

Who doesn't these days. They will definitely score at least 1 against us.
Starting Greenwood or James is a coin-toss. Both of them have had their moments of brilliance and as young players, neither are a guarantee. I just hope Greenwood is not brought in at fecking 70th+ minute, if we need his help and is given a chance to contribute in a meaningful way.Greenwood could argue otherwise.
You are asking for too much.Need to rotate and win so... Lingard job will be easier if he can control and pass back to the midfield and if Martial helps well. Martial and Fred playing well, Matic and Lingard not making mistakes is going to make us win.
Yep, I was kinda hoping Ole comes out and says to press: "I'm f***ing fed up with spoiled little bitch Diva and his Shitbag agent, and their rubbish, he is leaving if there is club stupid enough to buy him and his celebrity behaviour and his eat all you can pizza agent, if he is not sold, I will shove him in reserve tenm with 10000 Pounds per week until end of his contract. HappyNew Year".Predictable response.

Same boat, think a lot of posters are underrating them. Their attack is enough to really hurt us.I have a really bad feeling about this game. I'm expecting Arsenal to play out of their minds and Matic will be eaten alive.

Exactly. If it was serious enough to keep him out for a few weeks, he would have known yesterday. There is definitely something going on behind the scenes.Yeah, most of us feel the same way.
Also, Ole neglected to mention Pogba's mysterious injury in his press conference yesterday. That alone is cause for concern.
I had convinced myself the club wouldn't be so stupid as to sell Pogba in January. Now I'm not so sure.
Bias for English players? What are you talking about? I've made it clear that Lingard has been awful, but he had good games against City and Spurs, and has a good record vs Arsenal, hence why I can understand why Ole has started him tonight. You just can't get away from your bias for english players. Defending Lingard is something else, but now we are praising players who want to play for our team, that's gotta be a new low.
Cmmon Walters, I hate Pogba's antics too, but using it to hide Lingard's woeful performances? You are better than that. Lingard doesn't deserve to start for this team anymore, and I was his fan who defended him for years, he simply used all of his credits here.
Arteta throwing everything he's got at us… Ozil and Pepe are a joke. Lacazette is not his best. Aubameyang is the one to watch for, but I have a lot of faith in our golden boy AWB. Hope Maguire, Lindelof, and De Gea have a good day as well.Starting Aubameyang, Lacazette, Ozil and Pepe is something they haven't managed all season, it's certainly a surprise and it's going to be difficult to defend with our defensive record.
