Pogba is doing fine. Ran the midfield, created and distributed. He's not going to win games by himself. This team's problems are up front.

Everybody barking up the tree trying to pin this on Pogba.
Exactly. If Ibra could finish his chances he'd have had 2 assists today alone. Several more this season.

Pogba is coming good. Zlatan is going in the opposite direction.

He played well & ran the midfield yesterday, he has done well in all our home games, apart from City. Not sure I'm the only one to have noticed this, but he hasn't asserted himself well away from home, Mata another one that used to have this problem when he first arrived. Pogba was good against Burnley, as expected.

Pogba's game by numbers vs Burnley: 3 tackles won
4 dribbles
6 chances created
6 shots
97 passes
91% pass accuracy

If you are claiming he didn't shine, struggled or failed to cope with the pace/pressure of the game last night, you deserve to be bitch slapped by a UFC champion who is above 6 ft 5 in height....till you are in need of dentures

Unfortunately our two best hopes in Martial and Rushford are not performing to the levels we expect. Basically the front 3 have been the problem in most of our games with their movement and lack of goals.

The midfield which includes Pogba have dominated only to be let down by impotence of the attack. What I really don't understand is lack of game time for Carrick. He seems ideally suited to give Pogba the freedom to not worry about his defensive duties.

It's because Carrick is not the teams future and Jose is building a team now. It's better not to have someone who is going to be gone in a couple of years ensure that people like Pogba and Herrera dont take responsibility for dictating games.

Those numbers are quite deceiving seeing as most of his passes were within 5 yards and many were sideways and backwards.

He had some great crosses and created chances but he also was the reason for a few of Burnleu's counterattacks

Here and now is just as important as the future, if not more.

Times have changed, I bet if we had an 18 year old Ronaldo in the team now many of them would want him dropped. I think while the winning came easy and the trophies stacked up people didn't care if they had a sloppy game.

Now every touch and pass is under the microscope, They expect everything to be flawless.
EXACTLY.

Players can't even be afforded any error without someone whining. These people the watch the game see Pogba hold on for the ball a bit longer looking for better option and there they go jumping into this thread complaining about him.

Every single mistake he makes in a game a game is met with people bumping this sort of thread and talking out their asses.

Sad times indeed.

You must have been watching a different game. Most of his passes were forward.

Lies. His heat map for the match does not show sideways and backwards passing

Looks decent enough on the face of it, out of interest, how does that compare with other CMs, say City's, Scousers and Arsenals?

He was fine yesterday, running the show at times. Dont know what people expect, at Juve he had strikers and midfielders who would convert the fecking chances.

The only thing missing are his long range shots, but that will come with confidence. Sure he has to adapt his game a bit and also grow into the team, but i thought he was brilliant at times yeterday with the link up play.

They made 1 counter attack because of Pogba's mistake, that was when he fail to control the ball and deflected it. Apart from that Pogba's was superb and not just simple passes. He showed his passing range and also weight of his passes was superb.

Pogba is not the problem.

Unfortunately, he is not the solution, either...
We need goal scorers. There isn't a midfielder who is solution for the problem we are having, that is scoring goals.

I think he's on an upward trend now. Very good against Burnley and I thought he looked the business against Fenerbace before going off.

Praying he's fit for tomorrow because without him and Herrera the midfield looks very pedestrian.

I don't think he has been bad at all.

It was clear as day how much worse we were when he came off the field against Fener.
