If I miss anyone who should be on, I'll adjust it, so don't vote if you want to vote for that person.

(Don't get impatient - the poll will follow)

I've returned from the dead to annoyingly complain about it not being a public poll

Gay poll.

Irwin should've been nominated here and Roger Bryne on the other thread.
I'll bet you never even heard of Roger BYRNE until EricisaGod mentioned him. ;)

And Denis Irwin has walked away with left back, so do you want him in the team twice?

I understand you have followed him through out the busby babe era. :smirk:

If I am selecting an All time United XI, its better to fit all the best available players. I would pick Irwin as the rightback with Bryne on the left.

I've also pointed out the miss with my silly vote.

I think it has to be Gaz considering his trophy haul but Jimmy Nichol wasn't bad in his day

Such outstanding wit. I'm not worthy.

We already explained the futility of using players from the 50s. So when did you see Roger Bryne play...and who is Roger Bryne anyway?

I have some old vidoes but not much. Your point of creating the poll was to pick the greatest ever United team. So there is some room for presumption

RIP Byrne.

I've never seen him play but my grandad always used to rave about him. Mind you my grandad was slightly senile and would rave about cabbage if you gave him a chance.

Everyone knows cabbage is 'kin horrible

Vijay stop being a pain in the arse.

We already said that there weren't enough people to have seen the Busby Babes to do them justice in a poll.

Gary.
Although Parker was perhaps just as good, but kissing the badge in front of Pool fans wins it...

Thank you Suresh. :)

Not just misspelling, but continually misspelling, therefore eliminating the excuse of a typo. And he claims to like the player so much. Or he could be trying to impress.

And as I'm not a United legend, I'll forgive Topper for constantly misspelling my name. ;)

Is this some more mischief ? I only remember Jimmy Nich for 2 things, his dodgy perm and his curving long passes down the line for Steve Coppell - the only problem being that 9 out of 10 of them seemed to curve out of play and come back in again just as the linesman raised his flag for a throw to the other side.

I'm with you on that one, but she did explain earlier it's the past 40 years. Otherwise how about Billy Meredith at inside right and Charlie Roberts as centre half. Gotta draw the line somewhere.

Clear winner, all the muppets vote for him because he is playing now and he is clearly good and all the older members of the forum who have seen plenty of right backs through-out the years know he is the best.
