Nominate two - one left, one right.
I did indeed.noodlehair said:hehehe
You messed it up the first time
Most of them have been easy to date. Especially the Goalkeepers one.Oldham said:This one was easy...Giggs and Best.
Best with either Giggs or Ronaldo.eric le roi said:God can you imagine Giggs & Best in the same team?
Ian Storey-Moore was another who suffered with injuries and sadly United never saw the best of him. He averaged nearly a goal every 2 games at Forest and scored about a dozen in 40 odd appearances for United before an ankle injury more or less finished his career.032Devil said:Obviously Best.
Coppell and Hill were brilliant. Straight-forward, no-nosense typical English wingers. Sadly careers cut short by injuries.
Giggs has been great since he's moved to midfield but too inconsistant throughout his career though. Brilliant player.
That's an interesting one, because though Bestie often wore the #7 or #11 shirt, he also wore #8 and #10, and for much of his United career was a striker. What was it, 4 seasons on the trot top scorer? 28 in one season if memory serves.Scholesy_LEGEND said:i think george best wasnt a wide midfielder. he was more like the playmaker, more like henry who drifts to wide areas a lot.
Shh Sultan - don't give the game away.Sultan said:There's no better site in football than having wingers running at full backs - United have traditionally been blessed in this department...
Sorry Livvie can't bring myself to vote for just two - the seasons long...
Left: Best and Giggs
Right: Beckham and Ronaldo
Absolutely. Suprised Steve Coppell isnt out in 3rd place thoughatomic keane said:Giggs and Best everything you could possibly want
Probably because most of the posters are too young to remember him.MancFanFromManc said:Absolutely. Suprised Steve Coppell isnt out in 3rd place though
Kidd was a striker, Barnes didn't many games for United...032Devil said:Wasn't Brian Kidd a winger? And what about Peter Barnes when he came across the city.
