As a Birmingham, let me explain. Jude was offered millions to walk away for a tribunal fee of a few hundred k. He didn’t. He signed the pro contract, and done the club right, putting the money into our club instead of his own pocket. The chairman has since backtracked & said the shirt is not retired, but reserved, in honour is the decision the kid made for his club. He also said, in jest, we might give it him back on 2/3 years when we are in the champions league, which all the idiots from Aston enjoyed.
