2 goals, one a fluke and the other a penalty, ffs
There are already multiple threads for that. Mourinho performances in the player performance forum as well as the post match thread.@Raoul open Paz’s thread again, it’s a good discussion to have. It’s inevitable there will be a stage where we just can’t carry on with Mourinho anymore and there will be no way back for him - and it’ll happen soon if we carry on like there’s. There’s absolutely zero positives about our current football.
What does that even mean?Change your tune.
That's worked a charm so far, has it? Someone better tear into Mourinho instead..Hope Mourinho absolutely tear into the players. Embarrasing.
Irony not your strong point? Some fans here will say "we won 1-0 in the 2nd half".
feck off.
I just hate ppl trying desperately to be optimistic top reds.Irony not your strong point?
Exactly. That's worked a charm so far, has it? Someone better tear into Mourinho instead..
Nope, I'm searching for the paracetamol because that gave me a headache, we were that abysmal. Some people just have to laugh at the absurdity of it all though.I just hate ppl trying desperately to be optimistic top reds.
Maybe you're one of those people.
Precisely my point since Moyes arrived. I bore myself repeating the same thing. We have never replaced Scholes. And when Scholes wasn't around we had 30-something Giggs pulling the strings in central midfield and he had the vision. We sorely lack a creative midfield general with a football brain who can pick out an incisive FORWARD defence-splitting pass.So you think having Aderweireld or Maguire in defense would help us create chances offensively. We were absolutely abysmal going forward and couldn't string 2 passes together so we'd need to sign Kroos and Modric to make any kind of difference out there.
Rumours are that she left him for Daisy Lowe, they denied it but I have a friend that works in the industry that claims it’s true, personally I think it’s a load of bollocks because we all know you get a fit one and a butch one, we’re entering the world of pornhub if this was true.Am I missing something here?
I was all for him continuing after the first season, since we won stuff and looked decent. Since then, apart from the league position (which won us the grand sum of zero trophies), nothing indicated that we were progressing as a team, and us finishing second was more a result of the other teams not being good enough. This season so far hasn't shown that we're going to come up with any sort of an attacking plan, and players aren't improving under Mourinho. We had 60 minutes to chase a goal against Brighton and came up with what, two shots on target? Two shots on target in 60 minutes is unacceptable if you're 3-0 up, at two goals down it's outright pathetic. So
A European trophy, a domestic cup and the highest league position since SAF left isn't progress from what we had before??
As if an international break is going to improve our attitude and style of play. If anything it couldn't come quicker if we managed to get a new manager in to work two weeks with non-internationals. I wish we got Sarri, now we could only hope on getting Zidane mid-season - Jardim won't leave Monaco.I'm really not looking forward to playing Spurs next week. That international break could not come quicker for us.
I can't imagine Jose ever has a ten year planI was all for him continuing after the first season, since we won stuff and looked decent. Since then, apart from the league position (which won us the grand sum of zero trophies), nothing indicated that we were progressing as a team, and us finishing second was more a result of the other teams not being good enough. Where do you reckon we're going with Mourinho? Storming the league if he's allowed to implement his ten year plan?
I don't know if it's the players or Mourinho, but the players don't look like they're performing to the maximum of their respective abilities, and that's on the manager. The manager doesn't seem to have any plan to shake things up other than bringing on Fellaini, and he needs to shake things up more often than I think that a Manchester United manager should be.
Why? We're always good before a break and shit right after. Jose will go for the draw next week to minimize any potential thrashing and to save face after the defeat.I'm really not looking forward to playing Spurs next week. That international break could not come quicker for us.
Called it.El Meltdown
He was drawn out of position on the opener, which created the chance for Murray, though Lindelof was terrible in staying with him and allowed a fecking 35 year old Glenn Murray to run a circle around him.Not sure why everyone is blaming Bailly. The penalty was a poor challenge but it was a result of Lindelof's man just getting a free run straight into the box. Where the feck was Victor?!
Ya. It's just the gone to the stage of hopelessness. If I'm not half depressed from watching us I'm infuriated. It's a game of football I know but it can really ruin your day.I'm there too. I wish there was some way of letting them know, it's the same for one of my colleagues at work. We're both the type to change our schedules to watch United, but I honestly could care less after the last 6 months or so.
