Don't think so. He was great in that Ole set up. Counter loads of space. Hopefully that's not the type of football Amorim likesPlot twist, amorim to make him great again![]()
He's the most creative and hardworking player we have. There's nothing about nationality in play here. What with them both being Portuguese and all
Don't agree. But that's ok.He's the most creative and hardworking player we have. There's nothing about nationality in play here.
Don't agree. But that's ok.
THere was a talk of replacing him with Zirkzee in the past. Probably having Neville's mentality of not owning their mistake, thus keep drowning him at every opportunity. He's been decent recently. I think most on here don't seem to realise take him out of the team and we create absolutely zilch.
Happens to some of the best corner takers sometimes. I can't imagine it helped that the ref made him stand stationary in the cold for well over a minute whilst he talked to some of the players scuffling in the box. Man, that ref was unbareable today.Last corner of the game and to potentially win and he cant even beat the first man
Ref was shit but Bruno should be able to deliver much better crossesHappens to some of the best corner takers sometimes. Yeah true, poor guyWe mustn't forget it was cold
He's a terrible set piece taker.Happens to some of the best corner takers sometimes. I can't imagine it helped that the ref made him stand stationary in the cold for well over a minute whilst he talked to some of the players scuffling in the box. Man, that ref was unbareable today.
Hence why the “big chances” were in inverted commas. Nobody is agreeing with your assessment in this thread - somewhat unsurprisingly. You realize that most top teams don't necessarily create that many big chances across a game of football right? It's not uncommon to leave the pitch with 2 or 3 big chances created, even when you win and have more possession.
It’s also as useful to have midfielders who are comfortable under pressure and don’t play so instinctively. Swings and roundabouts.I'd argue that it's as useful as a clinical striker.
It won't be too long till we find out. Looking forward to seeing what Amorim can do with our squad including Bruno.Wow.. who's the most creative player then? Eriksen? But is he capable of pressing so much, just seems like Amorim's demand of his player?
We mustn't forget it was cold
I'm guessing you don't play football much? Standing stationary in the cold for a over a minute is not advisable of you want to deliver good crosses.Yeah true, poor guy
I would take him off set pieces if Eriksen was a regular starter. I'm not sure who else should take them though. Rashford's free kick technique doesn't lend itself to a high conversion rate. He's a terrible set piece taker.
I can't think of many other teams in the Prem who have a worse main set piece taker in terms of product.
Eriksen is better yes. Bruno has a monopoly on them to the extent that even when we had a set piece specialist in Sabitzer, he still dominatedI would take him off set pieces if Eriksen was a regular starter. Hardworking can equate to running around like a fool after a ball while upsetting the formation etc. I would say Casemiro was hardworking today definitely covered less KM’s but had more interceptions and influence on the game. He's the most creative and hardworking player we have. That corner at the end like the countless other ones down through the years where he hits the 1st man. I’ll never understand why we never have a player at the front postNani was a better set piece taker.

Well by that same logic, Donny should’ve been a nailed on starter under ETH.What with them both being Portuguese and all
Bruno isn't that shit, mate.Well by that same logic, Donny should’ve been a nailed on starter under ETH.
How we doing with him? Guy has been consistent garbage three years straight. He has four or five Stan’s here for sure but majority see through him.You can debate how well or how badly he played until you're blue in the face but we would be fecked without him.
NonsenseYou can debate how well or how badly he played until you're blue in the face but we would be fecked without him.
The slight difference being that we had world class talents like Scholes, Giggs and Rooney ready to fill their shoes after they left.Nonsense
Like we were fecked without Cantona. Or Ruud’s goals…or Beckham…or without Ince perhaps
Much much better players than Bruno have left the club and we have arguably performed better after leaving.
No, but if quality is the barometer (which I expect it will be), then there will likely be no guarantees for Bruno.Bruno isn't that shit, mate.
