Not a great performance overall but he did put himself in a position to score several times, each of which resulted in a missed chance. But as of right now, we need to keep playing him.
Because they expect one player to practically carry a team. Was way too trigger happy but he was the only player on the pitch along with amad who looked like a threat for our attack. Their goalkeeper was in good form, another day bruno bags at least 2 goals
Don't get the drama with people acting like he was the worse player on the pitch
Really hate to see his "frustrated" facial emotion and body language throughout the whole game.
He always overreact and complain even when it is just a little foul or throw in not in our favor, it makes ref get annoyed and be biased against us even more.
He gives his teammate nervy feeling too
It was the 3rd. Easy ball on the wing but he tried the difficult through pass that he rarely pulls off. Raced back to make up for his mistake but was too weak to do anything useful.
Thought he was the best of a bad bunch today. When Zirkzee is our number 9, Bruno essentially has to take on the role of our goalscorer as well as our creator. All of our attacks went through him. Just a shame no goals came from it.
It was noticeable how much we missed Ugarte after he was subbed off. I also think our xg would have been noticeably lower had we subbed Bruno off as well.Ugarte was our only good player today
Imagine crossing the half way line with the ball and your options are either Hojlund or Zirkzee uptop and Garnacho and Rashford on the wings.
Imagine trying to create something with those sorry options.

He lost it just prior to that as well when he failed a nutmeg. We won the ball back, gave it to Bruno so he could lose it again only for us to win it back a 2nd time so that Mainoo could have his go of giving it away.
All of this happened within about 20sec.
Yeah. His play when chasing games has always been far too hectic, he'll sit there in the 60th minute making decisions as if it's the 89th minute. Always been a frustrating trait.Yep, watched it again. Two of his biggest flaws are on display in that sequence. The lack of physicality which allows Bournemouth twice to get past him and his bad decision-making trying a dumb nutmeg and a low percentage through ball when he had better options.
He’s most useful position for us is as an 8 next to Ugarte, where Bruno is instructed to keep it simple and slow it down. Unfortunately none of our attackers are of use so he’s needed in one of the 10 positions. Long term we really should be moving on from him.
We did exist before Bruno and we will exist after. He's never going to be part of a successful league side because he's so tragically inconsistent even within games. Also he's whatever the opposite of a mentality monster is.Won't move forward without him either.

A mental midget. The guy is part of our worst ever losses and our worst attacking performances. Give the club 50 million to sign any decent attacking midfielder and we will improve massively by replacing this guy.We did exist before Bruno and we will exist after. Yeah that’s my thinking as well. He has the passing ability to do well from there as well. I think that was probably the hope if Mount could stay fit, as none of the other attackers/mids have covered themselves in glory.I do think overall this season that he's better served playing as the more attacking 8 instead of further forward. Gives him more space to operate, and he can still create in the final third but isn't tasked with the tight space operation that the 10 has to be able to do. We lose physicality in the midfield with him there but it's not like any of the other options are nailed on successes either so might as well.
All of those assertions are and were correct, though — we just got the recruitment and replacements incorrect, as always.Seems like every year we have a player who is elected as the problem who if we get rid of them will mean immediate improvements.
"Smalling lack of passing ability"
"Ronaldo can't press"
"Maguire is Maguiring"
"De Gea stops us from playing modern football"
"McTominay hides from the ball"
Don't doubt that Bruno is a frustrating player but it is never as simple as people make out, and Bruno is the highest performing player of all those who have become "The Problem"
As a captain we need him to be a calming influence on the pitch. He is anything but thatThats actually very kind of you to say, so thanks and it is appreciated. Have to attribute that to Redcafe as well, reading and writing here played a big part.
Agree, it started early today and I guess, it is those games where we are battled from the first minute onwards. I think, he struggled today and this, as on other occasions brought out some of his worst features, exemplary his shot from 25meters away despite a packed box. I have to acknowledge him positively though, actually made him man of the match given there were no real alternatives, because while I thought he'd go completely rampant he managed to get it together in the 2nd half and in a deeper position, kept a little calmer, played a little smarter. Really think, taking Ugarte off set us off to handing the midfield over to the opponent today, it was always going to be chaotic from then on.

Bizarre match to make that point. Although, of course, he gets crucified by the usual suspects after every game we lose
One of maybe 2 or 3 players in a red shirt who turned up today. Should have converted at least one of those chances but otherwise a really good performance.
The one constant in all of that is Bruno. Get rid of Bruno and you start playing football more instead of chaos ball that exasperates all of the problems that you mentioned.Seems like every year we have a player who is elected as the problem who if we get rid of them will mean immediate improvements.

A really good performance eh?
I suppose you think his set pieces were good too?
He can't keep the ball. He doesn't convert chances. He is slow and weak. He gets crucified because he's a huge issue with how the team functions.
