Who's got the tougher fixtures left?
I believe 9 pointsHow far ahead were Dortmund at one point this season?
I guess his performances did.Granted. His announcement of wanting to move might also have had a big influence of him being out of favor though.
Nah for last few weeks it's looked ominous to me that Bayern can take first half of season off allowing Dortmund to build up a nice lead yet still pick up second half of the season and win the league. It actually wasn't up until tonight around 7 pm.
They figured it out.Hoffenheim are embarrassing in wasting chances. Hope the host takes advantage and scores on them.
Belfodil showed alot more pace than I thought he had today... or Augsburg's defenders are just very slow.Oh, they did indeed.
Missed some things in the first half that just annoyed me greatly.
He really isn't, done a brilliant job at majority of clubs he's been at. Check out what he did at 'Gladbach and Nice. Even at Hertha Berlin they were top 4 weren't they in his one full season.Dortmund needs to find a proper coach if they want to fight for the title, Favre is embarrassment..
Or maybe it's because he's been shambolic this season. In terms of dispossessed per 90 he quite comfortably got the highest stat in the league and in terms of unsuccessful touches he's 7th highest. He has become quite selfish and regularly bites off more than he can chew.Granted. His announcement of wanting to move might also have had a big influence of him being out of favor though.
That's like Barca buying a player from Valencia. It's a different story if a top club can feed on a direct competitor. That's also why I prefer seeing Bayer players go to Dortmund. Bitter but it helps leveling the playing field instead of making the whole league situation even worse. I still think Bayern buying Lewa, Götze and Hummels killed the Bundesliga and buried every chance Bayern had to again win the CL. You humiliated your only sparring partner and were caught out of shape when you faced other top clubs.Discount Hazard will almost definitely leave Gladbach in the summer. Dortmund are high up the list (something something always buying the best players from smaller clubs ), but Liverpool are also in the mix. Another rumor links us (Bayern) with Gündogan.
Lewandowski was the sucker punch really, Borussia were still going to be competitive without Götze but couldn’t deal with losing their star forward for nothing. That's like Barca buying a player from Valencia. Gündogan would be a good buy for you however. Thiago/Gündogan/Martinez would be one hell of a midfield.

Of all the clubs he has been linked with this is by far the one I am most happy with. Have not really wached his Salzburg team all that much but you hear a lot of good stuff about him. Really interested to see what he will do with that Gladbach squad, really happy about this transfer.Borussia Mönchengladbach have confirmed that Marco Rose will become their new head coach for the start of season 2019/20. Very interested to see how he gets on there. Nice to have him in the league.

Yes same here. I have seen only 4 or 5 Salzburg games in Europa, and he certainly coaches good football to watch as a neutral!Of all the clubs he has been linked with this is by far the one I am most happy with. Great to see Rose coming to the BL, his Salzburg team were really impressive in the EL. Took Napoli close as well.Borussia Mönchengladbach have confirmed that Marco Rose will become their new head coach for the start of season 2019/20. Very interested to see how he gets on there. Agree that Gladbach don't look good going into next season. Rose will have a hell of a job to do to get this team close to the European spots. Herrmann's story makes me sad though, I really liked him when he exploded onto the scene in 2011-12, he looked set to be a great player but injuries stopped that from becoming a possibility. Hoffmann looked good early in the season as well but faded along with the other players.I wouldn't be surprised if Gladbach's squad has sort of peaked. At least their attack:
Raffael is too old to play a big role, Hazard will be gone, Herrmann and Trarore are mediocre. That leaves Stindl who didn't have that great a season and turns 31 this summer as well and Plea who had a spectacular first half of the season, but didn't do all that much since the winter break. I guess for Hecking to get fired so soon after his contract renewal things must be very messy at the moment, so those two picking up form under a new coach wouldn't be the biggest surprise in the world, but still, they kind of both want to play as a #10/SS and aren't really happy leading the line or on the wings.
Obviously Gladbach get like 30-40mil for Hazard, but it's not that much when you want to buy a #9 and at least one dominant winger, as well as a LB (since Wendt is 33 years old) and you have no CL money to rely on.
understand what you mean.I'm really struggling to balance my desire for Bosz to make his style work with my desire to see Schalke drop down into the relegation playoff and not get off easy.
Indeed! They keep getting away with shit performances lately. I've no idea how this game didn't end 1-1. Where was their midfield/attack in the second half? What an absolutely horrible performance from Dortmund in that second half, one of the worst I've seen them play this season. Burki was a hero with a triple save on the goal line when Mainz looked certain to equalize.
Dortmund are completely shot mentally and physically, if they can't comfortably beat an average Mainz team at home they will definitely drop more points in the next games.
