At what point does it become clear that it has nothing to do with the manager? We can't keep sacking one after another every couple of years when the same problem has persisted across every post-SAF manager, and will persist with the next as well, and the next. All we get out of sacking managers is a never-ending state of transition. It's like constantly sacking your chauffeurs because the car is fecked up.

We have something called an academy. We used to use it to fill in on the odd occasion. Instead we continue to use the same players that put in zero effort and have failed several previous Managers because... and yet we expect a different result due to magic?

These players need a kick up the arse, they need to be embarrassed and benched by an academy player that will actually play for the team instead of sulking.

Perhaps none of the academy prospects have shown what is needed to make the step up.

There’d be far more egg on EtH’s face if he started an academy player and it went tits up than Evans imo.
