Interesting. New Crespo in old (ish) money.pretty well rounded from what ive seen, would say he's more Diego Milito than those guys,

He's putting in great crosses/corners but other than that he's just been awful.I don't think Messi has played this bad for Argentina before.
He is just out of sorts the entire Copa.
He clearly seems to want to do well here but he's just trying too hard at times imo. Taken some fairly poor decisions so far. It’s like Messi’s heart isn’t in it anymore. Maybe he has had so many disappointments with the NT that he almost expects them to get knocked out anytime so he isn’t even trying hard anymore. It’s strange to see Messi so flat over this many consecutive games.
I thought the same. it's not just the running, it's the decision making as well. he's visibly more selfish when he plays for Argentina than in Barca. It’s like Messi’s heart isn’t in it anymore. Both semi finals are at that timeIf this is Brazil-Argentina semi final please don't tell it's kicking off at 1.30am.
Shame. I remember in WC Italy-England was supposed to be kicking off around that time and was put forward to 11pm, that is still 7pm for Brazil peaktime. Even midnight would be o.k.Both semi finals are at that time
Same here, I could just manage it at midnight but a 1.30 start is way too late.Shame. I remember in WC Italy-England was supposed to be kicking off around that time and was put forward to 11pm, that is still 7pm for Brazil peaktime. Even midnight would be o.k.
Brazil haven't looked all that great themselves other than the Peru game. These are two average sides if they face off next round. And yet Argentina are doing well. Scaloni seems to have found the right formula with Lautaro-Aguero and a midfield of runners with good quality
Brazil will still smack them around like an unloved goblin stepchild, but still
Not checked it but should be really lowWhat's the odds on Brazil now? Seems like its nailed on for them to win it.
He's been pretty good today tbh.Foyth is real weak link.
Been skinned a few times by the fast Venezuela wide strikers. He's just a stopgap like when Maradona used to play Otamendi there. Wasn't a penalty though. He's been pretty good today tbh.
They've clearly decided to settle for the 1 goal win. Think it's going to backfire.Been skinned a few times by the fast Venezuela wide strikers. He's just a stopgap like when Maradona used to play Otamendi there. Wasn't a penalty though.
Argentina just seem to be sitting back now, barely had any of the ball last five minutes.
It did work v Qatar. They've clearly decided to settle for the 1 goal win. Think it's going to backfire.
Great pressing by him and De Paul.Great work by Di Maria for the goal
Just the final. Is there extra time for the semis and final or does it also go straight to penalties?
