Which is hardly a foregone conclusion given the evidence of tonight's game and the inconsistency all the teams in your group have shown. If Liverpool loses tonight, the group will be wide open.

Saying that Liverpool looks far stronger in the second half.
They were getting played off the park by Red Star, It would be pretty hard to not look stronger.

It's better than being shit at the back with a slow and ponderous forward game. *cough* United *cough*
We're not slow and ponderous going forward?
Its Liverpool that's been ponderous this season tbh, your attack has played with its handbrake on this year.

If Napoli win tonight, liverpool will need to not lose in Paris. Final game against Napoli at home will be a formality. Losing this might actually be better for them than drawing in that case

A draw or PSG win will make matters more complicated in regard to their last game against Napoli, but would leave them a bigger margin for error against PSG

So if Napoli wins tonight Liverpool is fecked.
Most likely.

Honestly, it's an outside chance based on what we've seen so far. I'd put us at maybe a 3 in 10 chance of going through, as we can't rule out the possibility that RSB will take points from the others.

But we haven’t been slow and ponderous in attack? We’ve just been shite in defence.

He's a weird human being.

You've been gifted 3 points by refs this season. 2 against Spurs and 1 against City for stonewall penalties.
Okay so we didn’t win any games undeservedly since we deserved to win against Spurs. Thanks for clarifying that.

I do like Jim Beglin. Reminds me of the ITV days of the CL. Just need Robbie Earle and Ron Atkinson to join.
I miss living in the UK having them commentaries - good days.

Jim Beglin is calm and collected, I like him.

Spurs would've had to score their penalty and City did have a penalty and missed it. Yes they got lucky with a couple decisions in those games but it's disingenuous to claim they gifted points. By that same token they should have beaten arsenal

I'm thinking back to some of the games with Lukaku up top, we were so slow. Sideways passing, no out ball, no runs. Just awful.

The past 2 games have been much better to be fair

PSG beat them so bad that they were investigated for match fixing! The turnaround can't be that severe that it puts any doubt on PSG not winning.
What's funny is RSB could be within a shout of overtaking Liverpool themselves if they beat either PSG or Napoli.

I agree when Lukaku slows us down. But so what? What’s my comments about Liverpool’s football this season got to do with United anyway?

Imagine if we resorted to long throws into the box and leaving Van Djik up top for extended periods.

It was just a bit of tongue in cheek. Bit of a playful jibe at United's play this season. Jeez.

Get rid of this fecking 'thrown in specialist' we've employed, I've seen nothing to suggest we've shown the Rory Delap effect of throw-ins this season.

Is Klopp married? I wonder what he's like when he gets angry with his wife
I think this is all an act on Klopp's part. Playing to the gallery if you will.

He knows what club he is at and acts accordingly to endear himself to the supporters.

In fact I imagine most of the big personality managers act completely different once they are at home.
