Fallen Muppet. Lest we never forget
100% red for me. Very lucky. VAR inconsistently is crazy.
Think they are very like whoscored.com, zero to hero in one move. Some very generous scores there. Perhaps influenced by us taking a lead. Most have been 4/10 only Matic Fred and Maguire higher before the goal.
He's going there to get the ball but at first he was in between the lines in the middle. This is something Ole can fix easily. Basically, look up, always remember where the front 3 is, Bruno is always in the middle for you, find him. There is no link between defense and midfield in the center of the pitch. Everything is going wide.
We are not going to complain when a red card decision is in our favor. With all the injuries, we need all the help of the world.100% red for me. Very lucky. VAR inconsistently is crazy.
Lingard isn’t dead though...Daniel James is just Lingard reincarnated, a couple of bangers early on and then feck all since.
Look harder. He has been very impressive with his composure and passing. Just not seen enough of him.I have been unimpressed by Fernandes so far. Hopefully he actually does something in the second half.
I can't agree but fairly similar incidents anyway. Luckily for us, Maguire is englishSon’s was a little worse but they’re both reds.
No one is writing him off but he has done about nothing today. He should do a lot more that's we're just thinking.1.5 games in. So it begins.
Chelsea with Guano up front
It would have been a pretty harsh red card. He didn't intend to hit him, was just an accident.I can't agree but fairly similar incidents anyway. Luckily for us, Maguire is english
I think the main reason for the 9th place is that someone like James is playing a lot. He is a 9th placed team player at best. Martial has enough quality and talent to play for a high placed team.. he just isnt good to do it by himself.Martial will always tuck in goals when the opportunity presents itself but his overall play and attitude is one of the reasons our team was in 9th place at the start of the game. He is too concerned about looking cool than trying 100% and making mistakes.
Going forward, he should be a squad player. Someone to put on when we're hitting teams on the counter. He's a run onto the ball type of player, rather than a running with the ball player.I’m watching James trying to dribble and wandering we’re he will magically develop in that area. I just don’t see him having a role here in the long run. He literally cannot do anything in tight spaces. Just kick and run.
Disagree. His movement in the box is fine; certainly not "very poor". It's outside the box is the trouble. He's not very good at holding the ball up, but in the box he's good. His movement in the box is very poor. His finishing in the box is good.
The header was an example of brilliant movement from him, to be fair.
If we're clutching at straws, Son's leg was already on Rudiger, certainly no way he could claim it was an accident as he was literally touching him with the same leg as he kicked out.Son was red carded for an incident less worse than what Maguire did
Can they even do that now?Expect a retrospective ban for Maguire. Would be fair tbf and he can't complain.
I think that’s Ole’s instructions for him to act as a DM at times. I’m nervous everytime he has the ball in our boxBailey is a fecking enigma. Generally he’s been terrible for most that first half bar one tackle and then another moment where he looks like he’s the greatest defender that has ever lived.
Running after everything and just ruining our shape by getting pulled all over the shop.
Difference is James is still young enough to learn, he shouldn't be a leading player he should be learning in and around the team.Daniel James is just Lingard reincarnated, a couple of bangers early on and then feck all since.
Hasher red cards have been given. It looked prettt bad tbfIt would have been a pretty harsh red card. He didn't intend to hit him, was just an accident.
He's been useless for months. He doesn't even use his pace anymore. He has the ability to beat players but he seems to be scared to try anything now. Defensively he also seems scared to make a tackle.Daniel James is a step below what we need. I want to really like the boy too but it gets more difficult game by game.
It was a stonewall red card, not even a debate.100% red for me. Very lucky. VAR inconsistently is crazy.
His movement in the middle is quite good, nobody is passing the ball into the areas he is at... everytime he has got the ball he has had to drop deep which nullifies him.No one is writing him off but he has done about nothing today. He should do a lot more that's we're just thinking.
He should have. Its a clear redKeane the cnut claiming mcguire should have been sent off for his foot out.
Well he hasn't changed since the last time he played. I always feel like he is a disaster waiting to happen but he pulls it of pretty much every time. He sure is entertaining.
James is 22, he isn't even that young for how far back he is in his developmentDifference is James is still young enough to learn, he shouldn't be a leading player he should be learning in and around the team.
Lingard is nearing 30.
