Djemba-Kleberson is the obvious choice.

Keane-Ince was brutal for the two seasons together.

Keane-Butt was damn good in the late 90s.

Keane-Scholes was the dynamic madman cleaning up the mercurial wizard bombing forward.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Shearer and Sutton (SAS)

Shaw and Withe (to an unlikely league title and an even more unlikely European Cup win)

Dalglish and Rush - both individually brilliant but an almost telepathic link when playing together

Cassano and Totti - similar to above

Wright and Bright - an old fashioned (and very fast) partnership. See 1990 season

Gerrard and Torres (tbf)

Rio and Vidic

Big Days
Jimmy and Eidur...
If I was a striker and could pick any second striker to play with it would be Eidur. Absolutely brilliant foil. Unselfish, intelligent and if he was a video game character he would have an automatic +50% chemistry bonus because he just seemed to understand and meld with any striker he played with.

In terms of mutual understanding of eachothers’ movements there hasn’t been a better forward partnership than Ronaldo and Benzema this century. Best part about it is they both changed as players but the partnership remained as strong for a full decade.

Messi and Alba are ridiculous in the sense that it’s always the same plays but it always works. Either Messi finds Alba’s runs on the left or Alba cuts it back for Messi to score.

Liked these classic big man/little man strike partnerships:

Quinn and Phillips
Koller and Baros
Nihat and Kovacevic

The Legends will join gradually the party sooner or later.

I will continue with relatively unfamous duos here

2 perfectly complementary strikers:

Bordeaux: Sylvain Wiltord & Laslandes - they made Bordeaux champions in 1999
Monaco: David Trézeguet & Marco Simone -they made Monaco champions in 2000

The striker & the support striker:
Bordeaux: Chamakh & Gourcuff - they made Bordeaux champions in 2009
Metz: Robert Pirès & Cyril Pouget called 'The PP snipers ' - they made Metz the small club Metz one of the leading club in the late 90s
