Claudio Ranieri has officially retired from Football, all the best Claudio.

I still remember the day Leicester appointed him and all tbe pundits on TalkSport were talking about what a terrible appointment was and how Leicester were now favorites for relegation, oh how wrong they were.

how the times flies. that Leicester miracle was decade ago. he was also managing Valencia when they won a Super Cup against the same Porto side that knocked us out from the CL, and that was 20 years ago. he was also managing that Fiorentina team with Batistuta and Rui Costa, and that was 30 years ago

Yep did a great job getting them up from mid table in Serie B and then kept them up with a game to spare this year with some wild comebacks at home.

I did always wonder whether Italy would give him a shot in his later years. Probably if he'd left Leicester straight after the title win he would've got the job ahead of Ventura who was a similar age, not as experience at the top level and was ultimately a disaster failing to get them to 2018 World cup.

Yeah Highbury was a great little ground. It had proper character, unlike the Emirates.

He was a brilliant gentleman and I’d imagine lots of fanbases have nothing but fond memories of him at their clubs.
