He's definitely a top tier coach, but feck me he seems to be even more of a destructive personality than Mourinho, who I thought was the pinnacle of that.

He's doing a good job in getting the deadwood out it seems in preparation for the job.

I hope they mean Newcastle United. Wouldn’t want him anywhere near the club. I would hope we’ve learnt and wouldn’t even entertain the idea.

Good coach, but he seems too unstable to manage United

Most probably he s bluffing....or threatening his President to give him all the players he wants.

Don't want him at all, but would be funny watching him publicly battling the Glazers

It's not a coincidence that he mentioned United. Sending a subtle hint to the Inter president that he has his eye on a United player or two. Lingard, Jones and Andreas will be heading to Milan soon enough

No doubt, he is a good coach for sure, probably one of the best. But I am bit hesitant.

This 532 wouldn't work with us unless we change the full backs. Moreover, I would rather go with a hipster option.

Would be another backwards step of a managerial appointment. We're struggling to back Ole fully this summer after getting CL, if it was Conte he'd be airing it all to the press.

Conte is a brilliant coach, some of his teams played very nice and successful football, but just like Mourinho he seems to have an inbuilt timer making him kick up a fuss and search for fights inside the hierarchy he works for.

Don't think he's worth the trouble, especially when we wouldn't always but him the toys we crave. Serious questions over his long(ish) term stability.

Besides, isnt Conte average at best when it comes to integrating and promoting youth?

would Make for an exciting 18 month spell before his summer antics, the early season meltdown and eventual sack by Christmas.

Doubt he’d be able to take the pressure and would crack within the first year. Plus his style of football is not in keeping with what our fans want?

If he's throwing the toys out of the pram after a season where he bought 15 (!) players, why on earth would he even want to come here? Guy would rip out his wig after one day with Woody.

I thought Conte would stay at least one more season. He has done well at Inter Milan and woudl seem strange to walk away from a squad that he built and took to a European final.

I would love him at United... fantastic manager, yes he is very demanding and throws a tantrum, but got a personality and thinking head. More than anything it will put a stop to clueless ex united players in the media trying to influence the team from there.

He is abysmal with academy and young players in general. Seems to prefer working with old players.

He's a tit. Throws his toys out the pram all too easily, doesn't much care for academy products and makes the whole agenda about himself rather than the club that employed him. There's nothing about him that warrants being remotely considered as a Manchester United manager.

He’s the modern era of Mourinho.
Somewhat but no where as near successful as peak Mourinho. If Conte was managing Juve he'd be sacked already not that I'd agree with sacking managers after 1 year especially when they achieved what was expected in the league. (Champions Juve, runners-up Inter)

Can't see it happen. And even if it does, can't see it last long or end in good term. Not talking about Conte Coaching ability. Woodward and Conte sound like trouble from first minute. Add ABU culture, mole in dressing room leaking news and tourism atmosphere at Old Trafford, Conte wouldn't find the love, protection from external forces, which he's accusing Inter. So even the fan base warm to him, he would still erupt for one reason or another.

Just in term of their managerial style. Defensive approach & blaming others not himself, love having a go at the board. Mourinho has humour at least while Conte is fully in serious mode.

As for records, he came out as the loser with Juventus, and even Chelsea to some extend. Both proved that they immediately bounce back from Conte's low point.

What I meant is Conte couldn't change nothing, only for him to look stupid with all of his demands.
