And Ronaldo and his abdominal muscles were ready for the 5th penalty
???steady on now
Hardest penalties to take is 1 and 5 with the 5th being undeniably the hardest to take, I don’t even know how this is in question.
You can’t always predict that it’s a 50/50 shot but no answer is the wrong answer. Then he should take the first, since as we've seen several times, you don't always get the 5th one.

People were defending him saying they were getting used to “Sarri ball” they must be taking the piss.Always knew Sarri was simply not a good enough manager. He has one or 2 good seasons under his belt with Napoli and that's about it for a +60 years old manager.
2 games in a row 0-0 and losing the cup, talk about the "offensive" manager.
Sarri really doesn't seem to be getting the full use of the Juve players. Napoli did really well though, congratulations to them.
I hate to be that guy , but this isn't the first time that Ronaldo has chosen to be the 5th guy in a shootout and doesn't get to take one because his team mates miss. You really should be asking your best pen taker to be up front and not waiting until the end. You're wasting having him on the team by letting him do that.
He took the first vs Poland in the euro quarters and scored. He took the first one in Moscow 08 didn't he and miss? perhaps that weighs on his mind and he vowed never to do that again, but yeah he needs to consider volunteering to be the 1st for change because his time for a 5th glory pen moment to win doesn't always come round.

This is such a silly thing to attempt to blame on him.
Took the third I believe. He took the first one in Moscow 08 didn't he and miss? perhaps that weighs on his mind and he vowed never to do that again, but yeah he needs to consider volunteering to be the 1st for change because his time for a 5th glory pen moment to win doesn't always come round.
It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t when it comes to him but In high pressure moments it has to 1 or 5I'm not blaming him and I didn't know about Poland penalty, i'm just used to see him scoring the last pen in a shootout showing us his chiselled 8 pack siuuuuuuu and all that.
You implied Sarri was more defensive than Mourinho. That can't be true
He won the EL last seasonYou haven't seen his tenure with Juve then. He has no innovation, can't break any defensive teams down, has no real leadership.. just sits on the bench and smokes.
He's 60+ years old with no trophies. His claim to fame is playing decent with Napoli. He's basically the Italian Moyes, except worse.
He won the EL last season
He took the first one vs Poland at Euro 2016 if I'm not wrong. He took the first one in Moscow 08 didn't he and miss? perhaps that weighs on his mind and he vowed never to do that again, but yeah he needs to consider volunteering to be the 1st for change because his time for a 5th glory pen moment to win doesn't always come round.
And he insisted that he anticipated the winning goal, which came after Juanfran’s crucial miss. "I had a vision," he said. "I knew that I would score the winning goal... I told [Zinedine Zidane] that and to let me take the fifth and that's how it turned out.
Yeah Drogba said exactly that in the CL final 2012 Robbie asked him to go 3rd but he said no 1st or last.I agree and I disagree.
The hardest penalty to take whether to tie it or if it’s to win it is the 5th penalty.
The first penalty won’t dictate anything because anything can happen in the next 4.
You either take the first or the last as the best player/penalty taker.
For example say a World Cup or euro final is on the line or CL final on the line there is no one else you would want to take that last penalty then a guy like Ronaldo.
It's a bit like your best batsman in cricket playing at number 6 merely because there might be a close run chase. Yes, it's not quite the same thing but you're putting enormous emphasis on a penalty which often does not matter. The 1st to 3rd penalties always matter, no matter what. They set the tone, they put you in the driving seat or sometimes lose you the whole thing. The 5th is overrated and seemingly chosen for the need to claim glory. If the pressure penalty was the one he wanted, why he didn't just take one of the do/die penalties last night, you know, the ones they needed to put away to stay in it? Doesn't that automatically become the most important penalty at that stage? And he still didn't take. Weird.I agree and I disagree.

2020 and Buffon still playing! I think he has two seasons left in him still!
Sarri'll be gone. Poch in.
The scenes in Naples are something. What a city.
Liverpool will be in for the same.
Happy for Gattuso. Guy has won almost everything as a player and I hope wins more as a coach.
There's no way Poch would survive in that environment, that team is full of serial winners and it needs a massive personality to go in there who will have there respect, poch wont, Certain teams need certain personalities to coach them, Carlo Ancelotti maybe for example or a Zidane/Pep type, Juventus are all in there peak years, ready to win something, this is not a young team ready for "a project", and that's the type of coach Poch is right now, I love Poch but he's won feck all and would be chewed up and spat right out of italy going to Juve.

If I was manager, I'd ensure I have my three ice cold penalty takers form 1-3. Give yourselves the best chance to take the lead. Highest pressure this that, every penalty is high pressure.
