Just seen Harbhajan has retired (can't say I knew he was still playing).

Enjoyed watching him. Feisty spin bowlers are good fun.

Playing over 250 games of T20 and finishing with an economy well under 7 is pretty good.

Bizarre that Duane Olivier isn't playing this match. He's been in cracking form.

Rahul has been outstanding this year in tests. Brilliant England series and now a hundred to start this series.

Woke up to great play so far. Surprised by Rahul but he's been good recently.

Picture perfect day for India who are the standout team in test cricket by quite a margin.

Still gutted india lost to NZ in the WTC final. I feel the two test NZ played against Eng prepared them well. If not for those two test or had we played warm up games, result could have been different.

Yep. New Zealand get absolutely everything out of what they have and their bowlers are outstanding but whilst India can go and beat anyone in their backyard, I don’t think anyone can go and beat India in their backyard.

We haven't bowled well in the second innings so far need to bowl bit fuller .
Yeah it hasn't been great. We aren't short enough for the cracks (which SA did well) and not full enough to get drives.. With rain tomorrow it might be useless either way

What a win for India. Gabba and centurion breached in the same year. This bowling attack is something else. And it's strange our batting is not that good at this moment and yet we are winning with ease. Hopefully we finally win a series in SA.

South Africa are in a similar spot to England. Loads of decent pace bowlers but the batting lineup is too weak to get them into the game.

Yes, have to say this is the weakest SA that I have seen us play. Nortje is a miss but I feel this Indian side in test matches is just too strong.

We should be acing this series.

SA were better than I expected. Their bowling attack will be great in future. Marco Jensen looks good.

Rabada Ngidi Nortje on this pitch will feck quite a few batting attacks. I love van Dussen as a ODI player but I don't think he's a test cricket. They need one good batsman in middle order and I think they'll be very good.

Jensen is a very promising player. Tall left arm bowler who bowls 140 is very rare.

Would love to know how South Africa and Australia just keep churning out high class, legit quick bowlers.

If I was South Africa I’d be tempted to make De Kock into a specialist batsman, his numbers are very good for a keeper, but the talent is there for him to elevate his game even further I feel and his team need him to average 50, bat further up and not feel the need to counter attack all the time. Markram has been a bit disappointing since that great series he had against Australia, averages 33 in the last 3 years.

The relationship between him and CSA has been difficult all year so it was on the cards. It is immensely disappointing for South African cricket that in a rebuilding period where there’s a real dearth of middle order batsmen their most experienced and talented one with plenty of miles on the clock has decided he does not fancy it anymore.

Honest to God, how many more chances do we keep giving to pujara and rahane. They are just blocking the path of other players. Pretty useless to keep playing them.

Rahane Pujara should be kicked out. I would rather play Ashwin in middle order than Pujara or Rahane.

And to make matters worse, not having luck while bowling. Beating the bat most balls but not getting the edges.
