He’s not a United player yet. We need to stop making this mistake as we’re tempting fate. Wait until medical, personal terms and visa are agreed.

What mistake have we made before?

Every time the club has done that kind of announcement the deal is done just not confirmed.

This guy is fecking awful. Rubbish impersonations.
He's half decent at Rafa Benitez, and that's it (He does Carragher, Gerrard and Rooney reasonably well too, but they don't count since he's already got a scouse accent anyway). Connor Moore destroys him at football impressions. Much bigger range.

I still can't believe it. How did we go from next to 0 forwards and having to take Ighalo on loan to Cavani, super talent Greenwood and now Cristiano fecking Ronaldo...

Then from Smalling and Rojo to Maguire and Varane.

This club is incredible when it want's to be.

He's reportedly on £485,000 per week.

For each shirt sold, how much do you think Man United gets?
No more than 10%. Each £50 shirt sold, does not mean £50 into Utd's coffers. They get a lump sum up front out of the way to sell the shirts with manufacturers emblem on. Then they'll get say 10% of the total net of shirt sales. And even then, you only get that sometimes once a set number of shirts have been sold. Say, 1 million shirts. This theory that shirt sales pay for wages or transfer fees is a myth, always has been and will be. It really, really does not work like that, at all

If Wilshere managed to pass medicals throughout his career, I'm sure Ronnie will be alright. And a visa for someone paying millions in tax a year would get his visa ok

Personal terms are apparently agreed, Ronaldo will pass any medical for any sport on the planet and his visa is not even up for debate (someone with a job offer paying this much and thus so much in taxes will get a visa in 5 minutes).

He is a Utd player, don't worry.

The myth just won’t die, other day at work a couple of the guys were saying how Messi has already paid for himself in shirt sales  it’s insane. Not even sure where this myth comes from.

I thought the personal agreement was done and dusted and if theres one player in the world you would put money to pass a medical with flying colours its Ronaldo!

Ronaldo is probably the fittest and healthiest man on the planet he will obviously pass a medical. Personal terms are always already agreed behind closed doors before clubs make this sort of announcement. Visa won't be an issue.

Darren Farley, don't give up your day job. Pathetic impression.

But isnt Ronaldo only contracted until 2023?
But I believe the club will be sharing these shirt sales numbers, the clicks, SM engagement with suitors to jack the sponsorship price up

Never heard of him, and got no intention of finding out either after listening to that.
I was curious so looked him up on google and watched a couple of his "impressions" my "impression" is that he shouldnt give up his day job; his Steve Bruce sounded more like Donald Trump! This guys about as funny as a broken crutch.
