He's an astute businessman is Cristiano. He's seen that water is marginally more consumed that coke, with over 40% of the world's population drinking the clear stuff annually. He recognised that water is not being marketed as well as it should be and he could be it's poster boy.

This is crazy stuff.

Apparently Ronaldo has 10 less appearances than Messi for a World Cup and has 8 more goals at 31 and the same amount of assists at 10.

That website you showed highlights C Ronaldo a lot as the better player on the international stage. Nice stuff
nope, Messi has a much better goal contribution per 100 minutes, he’s been a far better World Cup player than Ronaldo

His numbers, and achievements, are other worldly. His career, if it started from 30 year old on, would still be in the GOAT conversation

Typical Ronaldo performance, horrible for 90 mins, but scores a pen and a tap in :)

He's such a bully*

*I mean this in the best way possible, not as a "flat-track bully", once Hungary conceded one he saw the blood and went for the kill, ruthlessly and efficiently.

Just another day in the office ;)

Happy for him if only because if he had gone scoreless, which would be absolutely fine, people would start jumping on him. Ronnie and Messi don't need to score every game.

Also, that 3rd play and goal...

He wouldnt have been able to carry them to the final
Based on what? He’s done a pretty dam good job at doing it at club and international level capped off with a trophy, unlike another guy.

It’s incredible how at 36 he is still the best goal scorer in the world despite being in one of the worst top teams in the world (Juve).

Ronaldo in Bayern or PSG scored 50 a season considering he’s scoring 40 for a team like Juve.

Simply insane!

Another record broken as well and noticing until he sits up top all time national team scorers list, who knows when that one will be broken once he stops scoring.

He actually broke 2 records today: he is now the best ever scorer of the Euros and he's also the first player ever to play 5 different Euro editions.

Also with the goals today Ronaldo has scored in all final stages of major competitions he played for:

Euro 2004
WC 2006
Euro 2008
WC 2010
Euro 2012
WC 2014
Euro 2016
Confederations Cup 2017
WC 2018
Nations League 2019
Euro 2021

Even excluding the Confederations Cup and the Nations League that's 9 major competitions in a row in this timeframe of 17 years.

This myth that Ronaldo has been superb for Portugal while Messi has been average for Argentina is laughable.

Both of them have failed to replicate their club forms for their national teams.

Both of them likely aren't in the top 10 of national team performances only.

But Ronaldo fans will peddle his Euro 2016 win despite the fact that Ronaldo himself has had better tournaments than that individually. It's insane how team accomplishments can change the perception of individual performances.
“Myth”?!??

Do some of you even read what your post?

So a guy who has 106 international goals and is going to be thr all time international goal scorer second to none and he has a internacional trophy for a country who had won 0 before him and has 2 finals appearance (3 If you want to count nations) and 2 semi finals appearances.

“myth”

He is the same player for Portugal as he is at club level and always was. He is the GOAT for a reason.

I may be the devil, but i'm not a monster
You know what is more ridiculous, he does not play for a powerhouse country. Portugal have been hot and cold his entire career with good players coming in or retiring. This current team is arguably the best Portgual team he's been a part of since 2004.

They buttering him up so bad it’s not funny. I reckon he’s 50/50 coming home. Wouldn’t be surprised if Martial goes other way
I can't remember another time another time where our socials hyped players contracted to other clubs like this. Absolutely unbelievable.

Yeah, nowadays if a player wants to move on he is "betraying" the club, my god.
Betrayal is harsh but United was definitely a "stepping stone" in the journey. The way he went about it also left a salty taste with "slavery" and "god only knows" comments and the way he conducted himself. I remember a game in which he basically self subbed himself.

Overall can't fault someone for playing for Real Madrid. They are the undisputed biggest club regardless of what we say around here. I just wish we'd gotten more of his "prime" years than Real did.
