We’ve already gone from zero shots on target to one shot on target. That’s like an infinity per cent increase.Good to see the half team talk had a major effect on our performance

Trouble is that three of the defenders that played against Arsenal's 21's in a 6-2 defeat 3 days ago are playing for the 21's whilst being out on loan to and not featuring for the likes of Stockport, Altrincham and Rochdale so couldn't be selected anyway.Any young lad from the academy genuinely couldn't do a worse job at CB than Casemiro tonight.
Okay so 1) that's a repulsive trio of "first choice players", if those are the players your manager is bringing in to improve your squad, I don't know what to tell you. 2) We were skint because that painfully below average triumverite he brought in cost a total of 197 million pounds. Pretty sure you can get players for that sum who are actually good. 3) The club had to make some mediocre signings for him because he splashed an entire mid table club's transfer budget for 2 years on 3 incredibly average players who were widely considered as such even before they joined us. 4) If you are willing to spend that much on 3 players, at least one of them has to come up trumps. If neither of them do, "but I coudln't sign all the players I wanted" is a very flimsy excuse. But still, the only players in this starting lineup that are definitely "his" are Onana, Antony, and Mount. Those are the only first choice signings. The rest are a collection of signings the club made for him, free transfers as we're skint, and youth players promoted because we've run out of senior players.
Yeah but only against the Go Ahead EaglesDid ETH really say Antony is unplayable on his day???
Good signing helps his team to achieve goals on the pitch. It is amazing how overrated that guy is.Only the good signings don't break bones.
I have no idea. Looked like an easy decisionI honestly don't know what some people are watching.
1 second the keeper is about to catch the ball comfortably, the next he's lay on the floor in his own net having not touched the ball.
What on earth do people think has happened if he's not been fouled? Do they think the wind knocked him over?
It's just a standard foul. If we conceded that goal and it was allowed to stand you'd all be organising a riot.
Beggars cant be choosersLooked more like one of Antony's special passes to the opposition keeper.
But you said “bought” and are obviously talking about purchasing as you said “money well spent.”Did they play under any other manager ? Yes, they are his players.
Is English not your first language? You might be confused by what you’re saying/said9 out of 11 are players ETH bought, does not look like money well spent.
Oh yeah we’re cooked. But I was referencing the sky graphic that said palace had never lost when leading by 2 at homeYes we did, but you might be grasping at straws.
Maybe that doesn't mean what we thought it meant.Did ETH really say Antony is unplayable on his day???
No, English is not my first language but you had got the right meaning of my post.Is English not your first language? I notice you keep using "bought" when it seems you actually mean "brought". There might be a bit of a language barrier which means your original post was wrong because of spelling rather than intention. In which case I take back my laughing smiley and the first two statements of the last post (although not the last one, using "fanboys" is very childish).

ETH's English is a little sketchy. What he really said was that on his day Antony doesn't play football.Did ETH really say Antony is unplayable on his day???
Come on now, we’re not Newcastle. When Erik goes, I hope we hide Antony in his suitcase.
He's also out if position, why we don't switch him with Dalot ill never understand.AWB is a moron
Come on now, we’re not Newcastle.
I see. They definitely have.Oh yeah we’re cooked. But I was referencing the sky graphic that said palace had never lost when leading by 2 at home
Shot on goaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllll
He meant from a selection point of viewDid ETH really say Antony is unplayable on his day???
Go Ahead Eagles are pretty good you know. I mean they're no FC Twente, but they're better than RKC Waalwijk.Yeah but only against the Go Ahead Eagles
Come on now, we’re not Newcastle.
It is not his first language, he meant to say unable to play on his day.Did ETH really say Antony is unplayable on his day???
Loans aren't free, they cost money, do technically he's correctBut you said “bought” and are obviously talking about purchasing as you said “money well spent.”

the funny thing is the point can be made without shooting yourself in the foot and undermining yourself/any credibility trying to make it sound worse (the five players in the starting 11 we signed for BIG money under ETH plus the two free agents he brought in in Evans and Eriksen are hardly pulling up trees, and it’s an indictment of the state of the club that ETH has the role he does in transfers given his record). Mainoo and Garnacho absolutely are examples of money well spent
