I'm really upset. I am in Houston next week, and planned to go to this. I was just going to drive to Dallas. However, I could only go from April 5th onward, so decided not to.

I'm in Dallas with our U16's and U17's, planning on watching the United boys on 1st and 2nd, some good teams here this year. Too jet lagged to write much more tonight, will post any pics I get.
Please do. I'm still gutted I can't go!

If Larnell Cole has traveled he must be near a return from injury which is good news.

Not sure if we'll do ourselves justice with that squad though, as its heavily stacked with defenders and its likely some will be deployed out of their natural positions which usually makes some of our football pretty incohesive.

Interesting to see who the guests/trialists will be.

cheers KM :) thanks for all the poking/prodding. just happy to be able to chat properly about some of these youngsters.

Everton have a strong squad out in Dallas as well. Barkley part of it.

According to the commentator United's players play in the "UEFA championship" (whatever that is) while the Dallas kids go to high school. He's trying to justify the difference between the two teams, I think.

United won 2-0. A goal each for the Keanes.

We didn't get to game today as only finished our game at 4:30pm and kids were shattered. Had a good day beating Houston Dynamo academy 4-2. Pity we missed the United boys, will try later in the week. Everton look strong, saw them at registration and were surprised Ross Barklay was here.

Does that link show the Everton games too mo0?

Nice to see Barkley on the scoresheet and a win for us, thought he'd be a bit too good for it myself, but i suppose it's the experience of playing in different climates and against continental opposition.

there won't be any streams today, as all games are outside the main stadium. i think they're choosy about who is shown though. would love to see Everton matches though! some quality English youngsters there. shame George Green didn't travel.

Cheers for the info. Yeah, heard Green was called up to England u-16's

We (Everton) are beating Kashiwa Reysol 3-2, Barkley with 1 and Forrester with 2. Apparently Reysol are playing good football though.

Good for updates ; http://twitter.com/#!/DallasCupLive

EDIT: Geez, getting beat 4-3 now.

I managed to watch some of today's game as my son was playing on the next pitch so before our U16's game I got in 25 mins or so. Surprised we conceded two as Santa Clara never got near the ball when I was watching. Got some good photos so will post in AM as stuffed on Ribs and need some kip.!

Also nice Dallas Reds flag on the fence, today and probably flying high somewhere tonight after the Ewood Park result came through...!

Giverin for Fornasier seems accurate, so I'm assuming Ekangamene came on for Massacci - logic being Tom Clare said Giverin started when it was Massacci, and also said that Charni replaced Giverin.
