Still haven't seen any reliable sources picking up on this.

12 m compensation Jesus
If there's any truth in £6m now and then £6m later then personally think that's a good deal, however considering it's coming from NUFCWill1892 and Flewers I am remaining very skeptical

With supposed cause of injuries being intense training, will Ashworth mediate in this disconnect between the medical staff and the coaching staff?

Ashworth describes himself as the middle of the wheel connecting the spokes. Will he be able to get the 2 parties into a room to sort out the issue?

The actual cause of our injury crisis is not actually known. I imagine people with no experience of dealing with football injuries think a top doctor can just magic them away.
Intriguing.

Is there any dramatic music at the end of this post :)

So Ratcliffe met with them in person, listened to their request of 15m+5m and said "best I can do is 2m".

Source quality gets worse and worse…

We’re two steps from “a man I met in the pub”.

It’ll happen.. someone decent will confirm it though.

If NUFCWill1892 and TrebleChamp99 say it, it must be true.
@TrebleChamp99 actually has info judging from his post history, called INEOS *months* before it happened and exactly how it panned out, happened.

So I’m inclined to listen to them when he says EtH is leaving end of season and Ashworth is imminent

Might be making it up in my head, but I’m sure I read somewhere that Newcastle can’t hire another sporting director while Ashworth is still technically employed by them

Is that correct? If so, I imagine Newcastle will want it sorted soon too

I don't think this is true. They can hire someone else but will be paying two people for the same role.

It’ll get sorted out, this type of gamesmanship always happens when senior execs are involved and moving between competitors. Newcastle are paying him his full salary for doing nothing and also need to pay any replacement, it would be very unusual to hire someone and also keep paying the former exec for the full duration of garden leave.
