:lol:Would love to see Price do that.

Wright- Clemens was a decent match. Mensur v Gurney is awful- thet've fallen off a cliff over the last two years.
And Rob Cross is another one in horrendous form. Him and Gurney can’t seem to buy a win at the moment

Don’t worry Steve, we know your a much better player than Snakebite, and the only reason he won was because he had more luck :wenger:

That is some ropey counting! Only seen it once or twice ever, but love it when someone slings a three dart outshot beauty, thinking they've won the leg only to mistakenly leave 6.

Not sure about the world cup. Can be kinda entertaining I guess, but a lot of padding in there.
 Clayton

Wade is a arrogant sore loser, hope Wright does him.
I wanted Devon to win it, think he would be great to have in the darts premier league with his power scoring

Expect Wright to out score Wade, and his finishing is too good going for 11-8 Wright

That Japanese guy, with his first 6 darts scored a total of 8 , and going for a finish missed the Bull hitting the 18 gave it a clenched fist celebration with Scotland on 20 which Thornton hit first dart.

:lol:Damn, that sounded entertaining. Just caught the last Dutch match- bottle job by the Spanish guy.

Christ that Scotland team is, or was, very second string.

Great performance from Mensur from 3-0 down to beat M.Smith, think his avg in those last 4 legs must have been pushing 120

That was a great singles performance by Mensur, but that was a horrific last leg from the Austrians. Smith and Cross not exactly convincing- they seem to get on ok at least.
Wales must be favourites or thereabouts.

Don’t know what Cross was so angry at, I didn’t see Rowby-John do anything wrong, ok he was angry at himself for missing match darts

Think this is a mistake from Germany. I would have put Max Hopp V Price, as I would back Clemens to beat Clayton

Agree- the semis weren't great. Never seen so many missed match darts in a single day. Carrying the hope's of a nation on your flabby shoulders is clearly taking its toll.

Another TV final defeat for Michael Smith. Price kicking off with his first 3 darts throwing first (in the pairs) 180, 180, 177 & 131, good luck trying to break throw.
Maybe England should have put Smith 2nd then he would have thrown 1st vs Clayton & Price, (if he did beat Clayton)

Would be harsh to chalk that down as another Smith final defeat imo. Wales were just the better team- Price's consistency is another level and I thought Clayton was very steady too- he's in the form of his life with sky high confidence after the German Open win.
Smith is such a streaky player, and Cross so out of form, that those two in a team over a short format was always a lottery.

Groups A, C, E and F tough calls. Clemens in great form but him v Cullen probably a shootout. Also de Sousa and White or Van Duijvenbode have a chance. I'd fancy Durrant and Wattimena over Heta too.
Short format, so bound to be at least a couple of upsets.
Hmm, it's going to be a distraction during work tomorrow arvo.

EDIT:
A- MVG, Cullen
B- Ando, Whitlock
C- Smith, de Sousa
D- Chizzy, Cross
E- Wright, White
F- Wade, Wattimena
G- Price, Clayton
H- Asp, Dimitri

Dimitri on fire, missing double 12 for the 9-darter.

EDIT: Averaged 114.85, a record for the Grand Slam. That was after missing three match darts too. Could've been 119. That was phenomenal.

Yeah he was lucky. I could only half hear his interview- heard him criticising players for lack of sportsmanship, then walking off. What exactly was he saying?
Didn’t hear his interview, turned off after the match.

@Jippy just listened to it, saying darts isn’t darts anymore, some people call it gamesmanship but he calls it cheating. People chirping in his ear when throwing. there’s a lot of sniffing then they should get tested again. And he will go to the back and tell them as well
