I don't have any issue with the yellow tbh, although I kind of think there's no clarity when it comes to overhead kicks. The defender came completely from his blindside and he couldn't have realistically be expected to see him, but at the same time you can seriously hurt someone like that. I suspect one day they'll just end up banning them, probably after a particularly bad incident.
Re the straight red though, you can't say he deliberately went in studs high at a time when he'd completely lost control of his body. It's either one or the other. From my view, he lost control and desperately lunged to try and clear the ball because he knew he'd just given it away stupidly, and went in higher than he'd intended because he was completely off balance. It was stupid regardless, because he should have passed it shortly before and instead for some reason tried to carry on dribbling, but there was no malice there for me.
