Whoever wins this has a pass to the semis, IMO.

Looked like some dodgy Goalkeeping to me, great strike, though.
That keeper can look dodgy hitting a goal kick, let alone when he has to dive... Doesn't mean it was easily defensible.

What a hit Gio.

Gio is a classic example of player who plays extremely well for his country, and has not really been able to carry that form over to Club level.

Kuyt has been awful right? Or is it just me?

Also, happy Mexico scored first to now see how LvG reacts.

Poor goalkeeping. What an average Dutch side bar Robben and RvP.

Gio had a fantastic season for Villarreal. Spurs just never played him.

What does Sneijder bring to this Dutch team? He's been poor all tournament. Past it.

If Holland go out it's a massive failure for LvG and United. Let there be no doubts about that.

LvG worse than Moyes.

Sneijder's use of the ball has been shockingly poor.

How on earth can people really complain about Holland's tactics this game? It's insufferably hot by all accounts and so of course the bulk of their possession is going to consist of slow passing and control. They're not going to play risky passes to the front men as often as they usually would, nor are they going to burn themselves out by pressing as hard as they usually would. Whether we like it or not, the conditions demand controlled, careful, tactical football. For all people are saying, Holland should be 1.0 up, the ref has bottled it twice with Robben in light of his reputation. But if the foul just outside the box and the one inside the area (there were two really), weren't really fouls but dives by Robben, why isn't he booking him? As I said, he's bottling it.
Are you still happy with your tactics?

Kuyt's only usefulness if for fans to think the team is making a hell of an effort even when losing and not playing very well. Should only have been brought on now.

This Mexico team is excellent. I won't be surprised if they reach final.

How is this a failure for United? I'm sure Moyes would be more like Hodgson.
