Not necessarily. According to my wife (who is a surgeon), that injury did not look like a knee or thigh injury based one the movement before the accident and especially the resting position afterwards (ankle high up with a bend knee). She suspects a ripped achilles tendon and with that you do not walk anymore if you don´t want to scream in pain. There are so many nerves that run there that they probably need to completely knock him out with pain killers to even work on him.
The added time based on all that happened was still far too low, though. That could have been 8 minutes easily.
