Worst scout to ever exist
Yeah I've got little doubt in saying Spain, Germany, Brazil and France are the 4 best sides in this tournament, by a distance IMO
Yeah he has been bad this game.Germany need to get Musiala on the ball more. He's Germany's threat.
Since Gnabry got his contract at Bayern he's been meh.
Germany? Not a chance. They might not even get through to the next round.Yeah I've got little doubt in saying Spain, Germany, Brazil and France are the 4 best sides in this tournament, by a distance IMO
you what? It was half his body.Bullshit offside. This needs to be addressed. His shoulder is offside. Wow, what an advantage! Definitely worthy of denying a goal!
I don't think he's been bad. He's actually had great 1v1 scenes. Just either fouled or they were away from goal. He's not been influential in the last third with the ball though. No player aside of maybe Olmo has been influential in the last third so far in this game though. Intense pressing takes that option away.Yeah he has been bad this game.
I think Bayern's wingers and fullback options make it easier for them against Barca than it is for Germany against Spain.Considering Bayern routinely thrash Barca and with 6/11 of Germany starting 11 playing for Bayern and 5/11 of Spain starting 11 playing for Barca, Germany should be able to beat Spain but they are struggling.
Beating is one thing but I don't get why we have to surrender possession so easily. 30% although 7/11 (8 with Süle) are from Bayern or City and the rest are also playing for teams with relatively much possession. Bayern and City would not be dominated by Barca or any other team this way.Considering Bayern routinely thrash Barca and with 6/11 of Germany starting 11 playing for Bayern and 5/11 of Spain starting 11 playing for Barca, Germany should be able to beat Spain but they are struggling.
This goal by Lautaro was ruled offside... Rudiger's is miles off..Bullshit offside. This needs to be addressed. His shoulder is offside. Wow, what an advantage! Definitely worthy of denying a goal!
Pedri is 20 and Musiala 19 and both at 18 knew how to cope. Gavi simply falls. My main gripe with him. And simply being 18 isn’t an excuse in 2022, have you seen the academy kids these days? He’s 18 years old.
If you manage to give German passports to Davies, de Ligt and Coman you might be on to something.Considering Bayern routinely thrash Barca and with 6/11 of Germany starting 11 playing for Bayern and 5/11 of Spain starting 11 playing for Barca, Germany should be able to beat Spain but they are struggling.
This one is also bull, even more. I get it, any part you can play the ball with, I know why it's considered offside, I don't need an explanation. I just think it makes the game worse. Neither Lautaro nor Rudiger gained some massive unfair advantage. This goal by Lautaro was ruled offside... Rudiger's is miles off..
Agree. Say it to everyone I know, offside should be regarding feet only. This one is also bull, even more. I get it, any part you can play the ball with, I know why it's considered offside, I don't need an explanation. I just think it makes the game worse. Neither Lautaro nor Rudiger gained some massive unfair advantage.
Absolutely. We might have the players, but Southgate couldn’t get them playing this Way. The quality of technique and movement is awesome. Both these teams play like a different sport from us. If we face either of these we will get fecking battered.
I mean, he's clearly offside. Clearly. Imagine he's standing next to a defender. Even just being "a shoulder offside" will give him the complete advantage for shielding that space in the box from the defender and for attacking a cross that he'll then get to first. Situations like this have to be offside and clearly are offside. It's not marginal in this situation either. This one would've been called even before VAR.Bullshit offside. This needs to be addressed. His shoulder is offside. Wow, what an advantage! Definitely worthy of denying a goal!
Germany need Choupo-MotingIf you manage to give German passports to Davies, de Ligt and Coman you might be on to something.
England beat Germany just a year ago.Absolutely. We might have the players, but Southgate couldn’t get them playing this Way. The quality of technique and movement is awesome.
The offside law wasn't designed for cm accuracy. It's there to stop goal hanging.Bullshit offside. This needs to be addressed. His shoulder is offside. Wow, what an advantage! Definitely worthy of denying a goal!
I think he meant the Netherlands.Absolutely. We might have the players, but Southgate couldn’t get them playing this Way. The quality of technique and movement is awesome.
Wildcard here is this is Barca managed by Luis Enrique, not Xavi.Considering Bayern routinely thrash Barca and with 6/11 of Germany starting 11 playing for Bayern and 5/11 of Spain starting 11 playing for Barca, Germany should be able to beat Spain but they are struggling.
The offside law wasn't designed for cm accuracy. It's there to stop goal hanging.
Should have been tested before it was ever used. Law needs updating for VAR games, kills the spectacle, often.
Absolutely. We might have the players, but Southgate couldn’t get them playing this Way. The quality of technique and movement is awesome.
I did. While I think Spain would also beat England, the English would definitely give these teams a game.I think he meant the Netherlands.
Fair enough but at that age I think a player should be allowed some leeway in terms of physical development.Pedri is 20 and Musiala 19 and both at 18 knew how to cope. Gavi simply falls. My main gripe with him. And simply being 18 isn’t an excuse in 2022, have you seen the academy kids these days?
They don’t play that way though. Even with a wide player in space they rarely hit it into the box. They prefer to pick defences apart with sharp, fast passing and quick players breaking into the box. Kane would hardly get a kick in this set up.Spain is lacking a world class 9. Thats been the case for a long time but it’s keep reminding me every tournament. Even a Giroud or 30 yo Kane would be an upgrade for them.
Not particularly bothered by the result here. Pre VAR football was a better spectacle by some distance imo.I'm sorry, German here, I want us to win this game, but how could anyone even argue that Rüdiger's goal shouldn't be offside in the spirit of the law.
