When the Portugese fans are also asking for Ronaldo to be dropped, its obvious he is not performing anywhere near good enough anymore. You have some you tubers say when he scores an hatrick you wont be aaying that...
The truth is he will never score an hatrick for us again. TH has identified he dropped a bollock keeping him on when he tried everything to leave, (or was that the board). It would be better for Ronaldo to swallow his pride, accept he wont be getting 400k+ a week off any team in Europe and perhaps have a season and half in Portugal, then finish off in MLS for Beckham, maybe

According to Scholes it was disrespectful to not bring him on against City and it is also disrespectful to play him tonight.

Let's not mention the fact he skipped pre season and publicly stated he wanted out, nothing disrespectful to see there, move along.

The guy is clearly finished - did nothing today and did nothing against Sherrif. He isn't even at Europa League level anymore.

Thought he looked sharp in the first half. Really would like to see him score a few and then make an assessment. We had that 'he's finished' stuff last year when he went on a dry spell and he came back strong. Hope he does again.

This is just sad to watch now. It's one thing to lose pace, stamina and explosiveness, but his finishing and overall technique is just all over the place this season.

He might still get one of those super goals here and there but age has definitely caught up with him. For our ambition, he is no where near the level we need and is definitely finished at top level

Players seldom forget how to shoot the way he has. I mean Messi still has great finishing in his boots. Ronaldo is just finished, it's sad
It’s all related to physicality though, if the legs can’t get there quick enough for the mind to set the shot up, he’s under more pressure and his body won’t sync up with his mind.

What other greats were playing at that level halfway to 38 to compare? Messi is a few years younger yet.

His legs have gone. He’s lost that burst of pace, which gave him that extra half second. He’s getting closer down all the time now.

It’s quite cute to watch the guys constantly try and lay one up for him. He needs a goal for sure.

We look far better with Rashford and Martial in tandem than with Ronaldo on the pitch at all, I love Ronaldo but him and Fernandes get in each others way whilst we look static trying to work the ball into a goal scoring position for Ronaldo and him contributing to nothing else.

It’s a shame to see it play out but it’s nature catching up with him, he can’t out run a defender and if it’s not a clear chance he struggles. If we can keep Rashford and Martial fit and motivated, Fernandes gets into his natural positions and Antony keeps adapting that’ll be our best forward line and I fully expect Ronaldo to leave in the summer.

This last sequence between him and Martial just shows how finished he truly is, there's no coming back for him.

It's how it has become all sudden that's shocking tbh. Zlatan at 40, still retained a rocket of a shot. Ronaldo is shooting water gun type of attempts

It was painful watching the games leading up to Rooney finally scoring a freekick at Stoke to secure his record.

Watching Ronaldo feels like that.

His movement is still spot on and still a threat but it just isn't coming together right now. Feel really bad for him, but that's being 38.

It's like watching a group of seasoned pros trying to help out a novice. He's totally finished.

He can't get shots off anymore. 3 or 4 times today Pneumonia players get their foot in before Ronaldo could even shoot and that was one of his strengths before, those accurate snapshots.

He doesn’t have the dribbling, vision, passing range and overall football IQ that Messi has been able to rely upon as he starts to slow down.

For the majority of his time at Madrid, and everywhere he’s been since, he’s been a goal scorer (Admittedly one of the greatest to ever play the game), the minute the goals dry up as they seemingly have this season, he’s got nothing left to offer a top team.
