There is no right way to do this tbf, its either this which makes it easier for you guys in a difficult round or include every site possible and then you get the problem of different records etc.
As moby said, its a fun draft so its not a big deal + even with those broken picks think we achieved what we wanted and thats a quality drop
Who told you that
I made the grim mistake of starting this draft in the assumption that we will get a good run at the all time people and coming up with some fantasy line ups which look absolutely shattered right now.

I don’t get it. How are players with 2-300 goals being chose if the limit is 50 or 100?

The authoritative source is English Wiki which doesn't list all the goals in some circumstances such as with Eder. TBF in some cases I have looked at it, it is not just Wiki that doesn't record goals in a particular time period.

Round Rule Update 2.0
Another rule update and looking at previous picks it doesnt effect anyone, this time! If you are trying to go around the rules and pick a player out of position you need to provide evidence of him playing at least 50 club games on the position you want to use him for criteria. Wikigate helped you guys enough, lets at least protect position criteria as much as possible.

you can use the player in any position but lets say young Messi played as a goalkeeper at age of 19-21 but later peaked as a fullback, you can pick him for the gk spot and play him at fullback but you pick the 19-21 old Messi.
