All clubs are going to be affected, but the rich clubs will still be rich, and the others will be in tatters.
If anything, it will be much easier to buy assets such as Sancho and Grealish, so using Covid as an excuse to make shit in the market is making a fool of the supporters yet again.
Still, the muppet in me chooses to believe EW meant we'll look to buy good players but will not overspend because it makes no sense to pay Neymar money when everyone is broken.
Big clubs wont fold, that much is true.

But give 1 season without income is enough to cripple any teams. Any teams.

We spent like 30m per month on players salary alone. 1 year of no income and continuation of paying salary would be 300m. That's not even countring depreciation in players contract, amortisation, interest, etc.

The bigger the business the bigger the running cost. Every business cant afford 1 year of no income.

Yep, also the big clubs can't survive without the smaller clubs.

Let's say 50% of the PL hit difficulties, that's a 10 team league = 50% less revenue and income from games for the remaining clubs and less prize money no doubt.

While I tend to agree with this view it is very much obvious that Woody and the Glazers are using this current Covid 19 situation the help their own agenda. They don't want to invest in our club and the fact we covered Maguires transfer with the Lukaku money says a lot.
Sadly probably the way a lot of absolute cretins with no wider understanding of the universe and everything in it will regard the situation if we haven't signed anyone come August.

I can see it now. Even if we play literally no matches and thus have no money coming in whatsoever, TV or otherwise, people will still believe these shit headlines that the mail and star and mirror publish with "big name" and "man utd" in it and find a way to be disappointed and blame Ed Woodward

Ed Woodward - the only time traveler who went back in time just to edit his quotes in newspapers to piss off littleman.

Football is not stopping for a whole year though. Games are gonna be played behind closed doors ASAP.

No CL in 2020-21 being held is highly likely at this stage.

All the other big clubs would lose 70-100mil. We would lose the £2.54 we get from the Europa league. :D

Were you up all night thinking about how you were going to force that newfound information "subtly" in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with your club? You could have also said just said Liveprool, would have saved you some typing and you wouldn't come across like an idiot.

This is incorrect. The TV deal is with the Premier League not individual clubs.

If the season is voided and Liverpool are handed the trophy, it would classify as a complete season. Hence the clubs would want the full amount of monies.

Void season means no winner, no loser.

 Did you miss the part where we signed a load of pot noodle and toilet seat sponsors?

Nice that you would worry about us and all that but you really should be worrying about yourselves because all that applies to Liverpool mostly.
