This show is fantastic. Fortunately I get along just fine with Spanish, and love watching tidbits when I can. It's just insane stuff, and I say that by Portuguese TV show's standard which is high already. How dramatic is the sports journalism in Spain.
They probably have the money to pay him out of his contract if they really wanted to. I think Florentino Perez would want to see him suceed given the investment though.presumably he’s got at least 2 years left on his contract? Massive problem buying these older players, or putting ageing players on massive/ long contracts.
no one is paying a fee for him, given his wages. Real have the same problem they have with Real and that we had with Sanchez.

We almost certainly would not have let him leave on a free. It sounds like an agreement was made between Hazard and the club about him staying as long as he did then moving on for a healthy fee. Chelsea aren't mugs when it comes to transfers.Feel for the guy. Brilliant footballer but he seems past it after all those injuries.
Think this story might be the final nail in the coffin for those mega transfers. Madrid paid 140m although they could've got him on a free one year later. It just shows that no matter how good the player is, there's always the risk of failure.
I hope so. These transfers are madness.Feel for the guy. Brilliant footballer but he seems past it after all those injuries.

I don't understand much but it's glorious. They should get Jonathan Frakes in to host a one-hour special.Tweet

Madrid need to get rid. Embarrassing.
Imagine that was one of our players behaving like that.
You call that embarassing?Madrid need to get rid. Embarrassing.

Yeah that cod easily be the injury. He always came back slowly from injuries. But even those aside, he was never living up to the £100m tag at Madrid. It's not the pressure he looks physically done
What!?! That's not really is it
where did it all go wrong eden...
Is there any English subtitles available? This looks brilliant .Tweet

Never?! That is a bonkers take. He was absolutely elite for what? 8 years? It happens, he's shot.He never was a really productive player.
I used the example that he only has 8 UCL goals, he was a great player i just said productiveNever?! That is a bonkers take. He was absolutely elite for what? 8 years? It happens, he's shot.
Its no wonder RM and Barcelona are in deep financial shit when they see fit to piss away wast amounts of money on the likes of Hazard and Coutinho.Chelsea really saw Madrid coming.
100 million and on his last year.
Yeah resident spanish speakers! Please! Is there any English subtitles available? This looks brilliant .

So trueI thought I was watching crime watch or some shit.
Interesting, i was way off with him being mint. And few will disagree, including me, but that doesn't really change the fact that stability has always been his biggest issue. He would have one insane season followed by a poor one, perform again and then dip, it's hardly a coincidence when it happens again and again. Plenty of players have a bit of an issue with not maintaining fitness during holidays, returning to pre-season far too heavy. There's Rooney, Tevez and Higuain to mention the obvious ones, but Hazard is easy to include as well. I don't think he has the mentality for it, the determination required to consistently perform at the level he has the potential to be at.
I have no doubt that he'll be mint next season, just as I have no doubt that the season after that will be a let down.
Eden’s no dunce - It’s a snide dig, referencing Shakespeare, Wodehouse and John Lennon. You call that embarassing?
Agreed.Yes he's gone to pasture in Spain but those talking him down based on his PL time are mental. One of the best players in PL history without any doubt whatsoever. In his last season he contributed HALF of the entire teams goals and assists ffs..
