Oh my God I just saw this! I hope he'll be Ok.

Could have sworn his wife had something similar happen? I'm just hoping he'll be fine..

My late uncle got that around the same age, while he recovered he wasn't able to return to work.

Wishing Edwin a full recovery

Thanks!

I was lucky and found a new way of living after 5 years of recovery and disappointments. But It cost me.

Couldn’t take care of my kids when they needed me the most.
Divorced. (cost me a fortune but saved me from a unhealthy marriage)
Sold my company.
Sold my house.
Sold my cars because I couldn’t drive for a couple of years
Couldn’t work for 5 years.
Had to move to another city that could offer professional neuro rehab.

But things changed.

My now grown up kids returned to me. Got grandchildren.
Found a new wonderful wife from Brazil who loved me for who I’m.
Bought a new smaller house and bought a nice place in the sun.
Started a new business.
Become a business consultant helping others in similar situations.
Only working 2-3 hours a day but earning more by being more effective.
Started traveling more. I wanted to see the world before I died. Appreciating other cultures, learn other ways of living.

So I asked myself why work like crazy to become successful when your health is the most important thing you have?

I hope he recovers. He had to quit his job because he was burned out, unfortunately it caught up with him. Get well soon Edwin.

Awful news. He looked healthy and exercised regularly. A bit scary how our bodies work sometimes. Wish him a full recovery.

That's an amazing recovery and a great perspective from a troubling experience. It's amazing the provision of strength that can be found through and despite of adversity.

The Ajax job fully wore him out and you have to have the utmost respect for the guy for giving Ajax his everything for the last 10 (?) years. Hope he fully recovers, he and his wife already had their fair share of bad luck, health wise.

Yeah that’s not great. There’s stuff you can do to minimise the risk of nasty cardiovascular stuff happening to you, but it seems that brain bleeds can happen to anyone pretty much any time.

Love and prayers from my two northern cathedrals

I think his wife had a brain haemorrhage but recovered. Hoping he responds well to treatment and makes a full recovery.

Wow man, much respect to you. Thanks for sharing that mate.

I’m really glad you managed to turn it around and things turned out ok for you. I really hope Edwin is ok too.

Nothing to compare to your story, but I had several setbacks during my life with heavy car accident included and, if anything, it makes you more rational, patient and wiser for the future.

Thank you for sharing this, I truly believe you are great inspiration for those around you and wish you the best.

PS. Get well soon, Edwin.

Ah bollocks

I suffered one about 6 years ago, it’s kinda luck of the draw on how much it impacts you

really hope it isn’t too bad for what it is
Depends on where the bleed is and how much the bleed spreads. Some areas you can be up and back to normal life within weeks and not feel any different, then there’s the most extreme outcomes and everything else along the long that separates the two.

Hopefully being rushed to specialists gives him the best possible chances.
