Too many United players to mention, so I'll go with a non-United one - Eriksen, I really love watching this guy, absolutely impeccable. Class on the ball, so elegant, his passing, vision and technique really speaks to my heart, also fantastic set pieces. Probably my favorite non-United player at the moment, absolutely top class.

For me one of the most complete and underrated midfielders of the PL era. How we could do with a player like him in a midfield 3 alongside Matic and Pogba.

Constantly at the STD clinic.
Harry Kane is a beast of a player. A player that truly plays with his heart and soul and I believe he can become one of the greatest of all time if he keeps going like this (Henry/Zlatan levels).

I think he may also win a Ballon D'or in the future.

Michael Carrick (2006-2009). Never seen a midfielder that could pass the ball to a forward player as quick as you. Absolutely loved it.
Yet never truly appreciated and probably the most under rated player of his era. While England messed around with how to play Lampard and Gerrard together they should have been deciding which of those 2 got to play with Carrick in their 4-4-2

Roy Keane - i didn't think we'd ever lose a match with that man on the pitch. Even when it was going wrong, i'd look to see what he was going to do.

Zidane - poetry in motion.

Currently my fav united player is Valencia. Nowhere near the most talented but an absolute beast of a professional. Been here for 10 years now, and i can never firget when he came on after nearly 7 month out with a horror of a broken foot, he was twice as fat as any other player on the field. Unreal dedication to his training, fired his agent a la Scholes because he never wants to leave, and has been first choice for 4 managers now in a position that is not his own.

All time for me, United aside, is Guissepe Rossi. As good as Del Piero imo and a pleasure to watch on the field, not to mention he bleeds for his club. In his prime he could have chosen any club, said I want to go there, and Roma would have recieved a blank cheque. He is their Paul Scholes.
I'm guessing Rooney was suspended or injured then

Park Ji-sung. Industrious and tenacious, gave his all every game and a real asset to our club for a long time.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - Such a conventional finisher but made it look like an art form. My favourite player of all time

Love Berbatov too. As much as he frustrated me at times , on his day he was an absolute joy to watch. An absolute technical magician had a first touch made of Velcro.

Outside of United my favourite player would have to be Pablo Aimar though. Had the ball control of a pornstar.

His only appearance in a major tournament was in the World Cup 2006, and he was named Motm. Then never played again. Ridiculous

John Barnes for me.

I grew up in awe of him as it was when I was just getting into following football and he was like an English Pele, and I remember being chuffed to bits the day he signed for Liverpool. Saw him live many many times and he never disappointed even when he fecked his knee and moved position he was still class.

I've been lucky enough to meet him quite a few times in Liverpool and then Newcastle and he's always been a really charming, humble bloke. Kinda looks like I stalk him if you look at my pics on Facebook as I've got 5-6 pics with him and we're both wearing different gear in all of them :D

Robbie Fowler is the most recent, and Peter Beardsley is another, and I don't for one minute believe all the stuff flying about regarding him being a bully, just ain't the type at all. But Digger was and always will be my footballing hero.

I don't really look at players anymore with any awe or real admiration, but Salah would probably the most likely to be a future hero, not cos of his magical season, more the way he plays with a big smile on his face and comes across as a genuinely nice bloke, every story you hear about him is positive from giving fans his shirts to donating prizes to his hometown - if anyone deserves a successful career it's him and if that meant him moving to Barca of Real, I wouldn't begrudge the guy for a second.

Maldini, the greatest ever as a defender for me, absolute legend of the game.

Nearly signed for SAF at one point, conceded 23 goals in 196 games with Baresi at the back and him.

Epitomises Milan, his trophy haul is crazy, didn't manage to win a World Cup he retired just before Italy won it in 2006.

25 years and 902 appearances at one club, I'm not sure we'll ever see a defender like him again.
