It's a fun draw.

Lose and we free up our fixture schedule (obviously feck that option but glass half full...)

Win and it's a great boost.

Bloody hell - again we have the moaners and conspiracy theorists in this thread. There is no fix. It's the luck - good or bad - of the draw.

Take it on the chin and get on with it.
Doesnt have to be a conspiracy but it’s blatantly obvious City have had easy cup runs under Pep. And Chelsea for a long time get easy home draws every season. I would love to see the stats.

Man City's FA Cup opponents since 2017/18:

Burnley
Cardiff
Wigan
Rotherham
Burnley
Newport
Swansea
Brighton
Watford
Port Vale
Fulham
Sheff Wed
Newcastle
Arsenal (semi final)
Birmingham
Cheltenham

Obviously not a fix (grow up)

But it is funny.

Absolutely no doubts that draws are rigged but we are not winning it anyway, so might as well go out early.

Apparently that's the 17th time in 26 draws we've been drawn against Premier League opposition in the domestic cups under Klopp.
So with the fifth round draw (and West ham obviously going through) it will be the 18th time Klopp has faced a PL team in 27 draws. Fecking hell.

*If we go through.

Consecutive Sundays against the dippers.
Have they allocated a time yet?

Looks like Klopp taking it seriously this season too usually he poo poos the FA cup but given he played the likes of Mane vs Villa's kids suggests he's going to try this time

Just seen City and Chelseas draw history on the above posts, how?! Wish we got draws that easy from time to time- could someone find Ole's cup draws with us?

Chelsea, City and Spurs all drawing absolute dross. Spurs draws this year have been unreal. Got a bye in the league cup and then Brentford. Marine and Wycombe in the FA Cup.
Also Stoke the round before Brentford. The narrative of Mourinho taking them places is too good to turn down though.

We've undoubtedly had easy draws in the early rounds in recent years but have beaten Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in domestic Cup Finals plus United in semis.
Been put out by Arsenal twice and Chelsea too so not always easy in latter stages.

Convinced these draws are fixed at this point. It’s beyond a joke now.

Nope. The date isn't confirmed either but it will 100 % be on the Sunday. Dippers play on the Thursday before while we have a game the following Wednesday.

Pretty much the nightmare draw. If we were going to draw them then I’m happy it’s at this stage, if we win then great, we then have a great shot at the cup. If not, it would be disappointing of course but we can focus on the league in a congested season.

Certainly gives them a conundrum as Klopp usually likes to piss about with lineups in the cups. But won't be able to away at our place.

You mistake giving playing time for player confidence for taking it seriously. We have a seriously fecked up Jan and start of Feb PL schedule. The tie is yours if you want it. Even you can't lose to a forward line up of Origi, Minamino and Shaq and a backline of two oil tanker CBs.

So from this

1 Fulham or Burnley v AFC Bournemouth or Crawley Town
2 Manchester United or Liverpool v Stockport County or West Ham United or Doncaster Rovers
3 Sheffield United or Plymouth Argyle v Millwall or Bristol City
4 Chorley or Wolverhampton Wanderers v Southampton or Shrewsbury Town or Arsenal
5 Barnsley or Norwich City v Chelsea or Luton Town
6 Everton or Sheffield Wednesday v Wycombe Wanderers or Tottenham Hotspur
7 Swansea City or Nottingham Forest v Cheltenham Town or Manchester City
8 Brentford or Leicester City v Brighton & Hove Albion or Blackpool

I can see in the quarters
7 vs 1
5 vs 3

Then the rest happening

. I think since ole took over we have been drawn with (latest team first)

United under ole with #FACup opponents:

Liverpool
Watford
Chelsea (L)
Norwich
Derby
Tranmere
Wolves
Wolves (L)
Chelsea
Arsenal
Reading

And if we get through possibly and probably west Ham

Yikes. Doubt Klopp will care though.

Has anyone mentioned a conspiracy for City and Chelsea yet?

Atleast not Wolves. fecking hell I'd offer to forfeit
 indeed. No trophy is worth having to play Wolves for it.

This way... erm, well, at least we won't have to worry about fixture congestion I guess. Or at least a little less.

City will pretty much have had 3 weeks over while most teams were slogging through December and January. Their luck with draws is insane

Don’t know about conspiracy, and yeah we put out second and third sides in the cups but Jesus do we always seem to have bad luck in these domestic cup draws. With a full strength squad we could probably put out a decent side. But unfortunately this has come far too early. Looks like we’ll be going out again.

City fans will still find something to moan about their draws.

Happy with our draw, if we are gonna get knocked out at the semi final stage anyway, we may aswell go out earlier and concentrate more on the league.
