Doesnt have to be a conspiracy but it’s blatantly obvious City have had easy cup runs under Pep. And Chelsea for a long time get easy home draws every season. I would love to see the stats.

It does seem funny that city always get the easy draw without fail, but they did draw us instead of Brentford like I thought they would in the league cup

We've undoubtedly had easy draws in the early rounds in recent years but have beaten Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal in domestic Cup Finals plus United in semis.
Been put out by Arsenal twice and Chelsea too so not always easy in latter stages.
No doubt they'll be waiting for us In round 6, IF we get past Liverpool etc

Nope. The date isn't confirmed either but it will 100 % be on the Sunday. Dippers play on the Thursday before while we have a game the following Wednesday.
Pretty much the nightmare draw. If we were going to draw them then I’m happy it’s at this stage, if we win then great, we then have a great shot at the cup. If not, it would be disappointing of course but we can focus on the league in a congested season.

You mistake giving playing time for player confidence for taking it seriously. We have a seriously fecked up Jan and start of Feb PL schedule. The tie is yours if you want it. Even you can't lose to a forward line up of Origi, Minamino and Shaq and a backline of two oil tanker CBs.

indeed. No trophy is worth having to play Wolves for it. This way... erm, well, at least we won't have to worry about fixture congestion I guess. Or at least a little less.
I am absolutely buzzed Cheltenham drew City, don’t get a draw like that very often
City will pretty much have had 3 weeks over while most teams were slogging through December and January. Their luck with draws is insane
Don’t know about conspiracy, and yeah we put out second and third sides in the cups but Jesus do we always seem to have bad luck in these domestic cup draws. With a full strength squad we could probably put out a decent side. But unfortunately this has come far too early. Looks like we’ll be going out again.
City fans will still find something to moan about their draws.
Happy with our draw, if we are gonna get knocked out at the semi final stage anyway, we may aswell go out earlier and concentrate more on the league.
