How many of their kids from last year are still available this year?

Only really Van Velzen and Blackett (from those that featured in the Cup final.

I don't hold much hope for our chances this year, not from what little I've seen of Chelsea.

considering our injury-problems and poor form in the league, it's a great achievment that they got this far. As I recall - Danny Welbeck never got past the 4th round when he was in the FA Youth Cup

Welbeck helped us reach the final at 16. Scored one and set up another in the semis.

It's great that Petrucci is fulfilling some of that potential, it's always great to see a promising player make it through a really tough injury. Let's hope he plays.

This being on a Friday completes a week of football every single day, life is great eh. Loving this new change to be honest, I would probably have totally missed this.

Shame that Januzaj is supposedly out for the rest of the season, think he would've made a difference in the FAYC for us.

Sucks that this is televised. Will give all the ABUs the chance to say how much even our youth system is deteriorating, despite it actually being in great shape and this being very much a transition year from last year's excellent squad to this year's extremely young one.

Chelsea lads were bigger, faster and stronger than us last year, so can't see our relatively very young team having much of a shout.

Still, always great to see Daehli and Barmby in action - truly class those two.

Likely line up?
Possibly;

Sutherland - Hendrie, Ioannou, McCullough, Blackett - Rudge, Daehli, Ekangamene - Barmby, Byrne, van Velzen

Not sure if Lawrence is back.. If so then him in for Byrne
Possibly Grimshaw at RB and Hendrie in CM for Ekangamene like against Charlton

I think Bryne is also a doubt.

Wonder if it'll have the MUTV commentary, which means Paddy Crerand being exposed to the wider masses. :D

Who will be commentating on ITV4?
Matt Smith is joined by Quentin Fortune for live action from the semi-final 1st Leg of the Youth Cup between Manchester United and Chelsea. The two sides met at this stage of the competition last year with United coming out on top and going on to win the trophy. With commentary from Steve Bower and Andy Townsend.

Well decent lineup, I like the look of Pearson and Wilson. The front three are very good. Good to see McCullough coming back.
