This game is all about running good at the right times.

Luck seems to over ride skill factor way more than id prefer.

Christ, im being beaten by a guy who's squad value is £4m less than mine.

I thought players going up in value were the one's supposed to be performing and if your squad is valued in the 99.5m mark then they are not performing.

And yet, hes kicking my backside.

Silly game :)

This season yeah. There's some really shitty teams well ahead of me, but they've had the players that have had hauls.

If I owned Pukki I would be keeping him personally.

They have some good fixtures coming up and I can see him getting back on the scoresheet.

I am wondering if I should replace James, Salah and Bernardo Silva with Sterling, Martial and Chamberlin.
My current squad is
Button / Schmeichel
Robertson / walker / wan Bissaka / Ake / Kelly
Perez / Mount / James / Bernardo Silva / Salah
Aquero / King / Ayew

Sterling has such capability for hauls I'd never be without him. Even this season, although he's only had 2 double figures, one was the 20 pointer on the first day. Every chance he does something big this weekend.

I want Martial soon, but if I had James already I'd perhaps keep him.

I'm thinking of using my bench boost this week. Currently I had McGovern, CHO, Connolly and Ake on my bench.

There is no spoon.
Going into the weekend with 3 at the back now as a standard, largely due to most premium defs being a bit underwhelming...

Pope
Otamendi - Lundstrom - Peirera
D.Silva - Mount - Madison - Sterling - Mane
Vardy - Abraham

Pieters comes in should Otamendi not play but id amazed if he was on the bench given injuries and suspensions at city.

What's the captain choice this week if you don't own Sterling?

KdB - Safe bet.
Mane - Home to Villa, Safe bet.
Abraham - Alternative , playing a pretty terrible Watford side.
Auba - out of form, home to Wolves who will probably have eyes on a mid week fixtures.
Vardy - Away to Palace.. Tough game but form over fixtures rule?

Question....

If you have 2 free transfers, and you only use 1, does that mean you will have 2 free transfers in the next gameweek?

Ok groovers.

Big decisions this week are

Sterling, triple captain? Or just regular job. (We all wait for these mythical 2 game weeks, but how often does a player play both and do well?)

Which of the below options?
  1. Change Hudson Odoi to James for free?
  2. Change HO and Wilson to James and someone 6.5 or under for -4
  3. Make no transfers this week and do option 2 for free next week?

Well CHO didn't start last weekend, played midweek and surely doesn't get in over Pullisic.
Ake will obvs concede to us.
For starters.

Any thoughts on whether to start Callum Wilson or James this week? The other will be first bench.

We’ve been statistically good in defence, but if Maguire, Lindelof and Tuanzebe are out then we might be vulnerable.

I don’t have any United or Bournemouth defenders, so no risk of players scoring against each other.

If you have 2, and use 1, you get given another at the start of the next GW.

Aguero. What's the story.
I'm getting rid. Played the full 90 in the league cup, so will probably sit this one out and play in the UCL next week.

In other news... do I go for Rashford or Martial?

Martial is 0.8 cheaper and is classed as a midfielder, so will get more points for goals. But Rashford is coming into good form now.

What happening with Otamendi? I brought him in thinking for sure he’d start with their injuries and they’ve had 2 clean sheets since then and he’s not played a minute.

Fraudiola at his best. I'm holding this week and getting rid if he doesn't start.

Current team:
Ryan(Pope)
TAA, Otamendi, Lundstram(Tomori, Soyuncu)
Sterling C, KDB VC, Mane, Mount (Saka)
Maupay, Abraham, Haller

No transfers made. Will save the transfer for next week then sell Haller+Otamendi for Vardy+Rico.

Can we only use this chip once?
That's right, one time only. Personally would save it for a double gw.

This GW:
Roberto
Lundstram - Trent A-A - Chilwel
Mane - Sterling "C" - KdB - Martial - Mount
Vardy - Connolly

Let's go!

Safe to give Aguero the captaincy this week against Southampton or will Pep chuck him on the bench again?

Sterling on a triple captain today.
Same here, decided upon at 11.29!
Every other year the logic is do it on a double game week, but I remember last year, their double game week wasn't very appetising, and I ended up doing Sane who got me about 3 points!!!

For a single fixture, when he's been rested midweek, and Southampton got spanked by their rotated team midweek, plus obvs last weekend, it's a decent risk.

Also Martial and Maupay in for Wilson & CHO for 4 points.

Risky business all round!
