Oh here we go. Rumours on twitter now that Watkins might be injured.

Rumoured to be serious? I'll probably leave him in as their fixtures are good and I don't have an obvious replacement. Now I need to revaluate who is first from my bench. Currently it's Dunk, but I may be tempted to go with Dallas as Villa would be without Watkins and Grealish.

He played 90mins on Thursday, and Kane was rested totally. It'll be a huge surprise to see Kane not start both.
Makes far more sense to start Vin in the Europa games.

Yeah I reckon so. Might play him if they've totally binned off qualifying for Europe but I don't see it otherwise.

He's 100% out of the first game, and doesn't look promising for the second. It seems to be the dreaded "we'll see how he is day to day, it's an unusual one" nightmares.

Just looking at Kane's record this season, and he's scored in 8 out of 9 games against lesser teams.

Scoring against Southampton, Brighton, WBA, Palace, Leeds, Fulham, SHU, WBA
(missed a game v Brighton away injured)

The only lesser team he hasn't scored against was ... Burnley away, but he got an assist.
Hasn't scored in the last two, but those were City and West Ham, both away.


Bruno has scored in his last 4, with 3 assists in there.
But we're not the best in the big games, so that Chelsea game is concerning.

Similar with Salah - Chelsea in there, but he has still continued to score in their losses in general.

Taking out Salah or Sterling could be a horrible error. Especially for a minimum of a -4.

Can you not just do Grealish to Barnes?

Agree on one of the Totty boys. Kane for me, as very little risk taking Ings out.

Go with what feels right pal, but taking a big hitter out who has two games is one hell of a risk.
Personally I fear a rival having Sterling. I suppose Foden could play there? Or Jesus at a push?

Keep Salah though if you can. He'll score in one of the games i'm sure.

Me and 100s who have stuck with him on the promise of these doubles alike!

Only consolidation is that Bamford is excellent security for anyone dropping out.
In fact I'll have Grealish second sub, so if he plays the second one that's better than nothing too.

Hope Coufal away at City as 3rd sub doesn't have to be used though!
