Zinchenko is back I think and there's Walker but I do believe Cancelo is the most likely to start out of those as he can play either side.

But this is Pep, he will probably play Mahrez as left back and Stones as right back

I kinda wanna get some of that pep roulette hurt at this stage, feels like I've been missing out on the fun.

Torres out makes it a better time to bet on Foden. Still Sterling, Grealish and Mahrez might start.

What about the international schedule, while he make it back in time? City play saturday afternoon.

Mahrez punt is incredibly tempting for this fixture.
Not with that short turnaround from the Brazil game it doesn't.

Did you chaps see my second line...it was tongue in cheek

Looks certain to start= he won't.
Ala Pep Roulette!

I wouldn't dream of bringing him in.

Can't see Mahrez not starting.

The options on the right are Jesus, Bernardo and Mahrez. Jesus is not going to make it and Bernardo is playing in the middle. Ideal time to give Mahrez a game against a team he does well against.

Exactly this. With Mendy out the way, Cancelo has started most games this season.
Burnley strikes me as the sort of game Pep knows is ideal for Cancelo, and that he can almost play like a winger.

I think the big balls call this week is keeping him, but still bringing in Lukaku.
That requires big faith in him!
I keep him for this GW. Will wait until Norwich to bring in Lukaku. As I've 4.8 in the bank, I could still keep Ronaldo and bring in Lukaku for Antonio.

But let's think about this next week:D

Current WC team with £0.8m in the bank.
Ramsdale
Rudiger, Duffy, TAA, Dias
Salah, Saka, Townsend
Antonio, Jimenez, Lukaku

Bench: Sanchez, Livra, Raphina, Mbeumo

Few question:
  • Should I switch Dias to Cancelo?
  • If Rudiger is out, what are peoples plans?
  • I'm not feeling too confident in Jimenez, any decent alternatives?

If Leeds are behind I think Raphina will come off the bench.

Help guys,

For the long run which one do you think is better, Vardy + 4,5 DEF or TAA + 7,5 FWD?

Should have switched Dias to Cancelo when they were the same price. If Rudiger is out go Azpi. And if you don’t like Jimenez then you have Watkins, Ineacho, Maupay and Toney.

I don’t think there’s a huge risk with punting on someone like Foden. He seems to be playing really advanced and even if starting from the bench, he and City, are fully capable of blitzing 2 goals in the last 20 minutes.

Id go Werner as a punt (3 delicious games and he's best against the worst) and then downgrade him / use him as a placeholder for Bamford in a couple of week's time. I guess downgrade someone to get in Werner. You max need 2 decent bench options imo

Don't tell me Walker is gonna be benched
I think Walker will be benched for Burnley.
;)

On a serious note. I think he will play. They only have zinchenko and I don't think he will start right after an injury. There is a chance that one of Walker or Cancelo gets subbed for him though.

It'll be annoying as I've replaced Alonso with him

Greenwood to Foden and Rudiger to Cancelo for a -4. Feels risky with Man City, but the capacity is high.
Greenwood bigger risk to not start right now as well, but he might play more than Foden.

If Rudiger is out for this week do you take him out or just bench him?

And if Torres and Jesus are out, I like Fodens chances of starting.

With Rudiger, it depends on your team. If you have no transfers to make and are willing to use one then sure, replace him if he's out. But if you have other fires, just bench him and let one of your subs play. That's literally their role on your team.

As for that second bit... that's what you'd assume but can you be sure? They can easily line up:

--------------------Keeper---------------
Walker----Dias------Laporte---Cancelo
-------------Rodri-------Gundogan------------
------------------------KDB------------------------
Mahrez---------------------------------------Sterling
------------------------Bilva--------------------------------

I mean realistically, Foden should play but then will he play the game after? I can't be arsed with constantly sweating before man City team sheets are revealed

I am on a wild card. Also Gundogan starting as soon he is back from injury? I can see Silva taking his place and Foden starting on left with Sterling moved up top. @Dirty Schwein

Gonna YOLO and captain Grealish instead of Ronaldo/Salah/Lukaku.
Ronaldo to score a brace and Grealish to be benched now obviously.

So I’m hoping to go into this week with:

Sanchez
TAA Livramento Tomiyasu
Salah Raphinha Foden Odegaard
Lukaku Bamford Jimenez

bench: Sarr, Rudiger, Ayling

Squad news tomorrow will dictate who starts. I want Mbeumo and Pinnock soon after too.
