Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Rumours he gets rested as played most of four games in ten days… Pep loves him, maybe rest for big games coming up..
Risky move I know but my dumbass brain just can't justify 13m on Salah when 6m players are scoring just as much points.

As someone else said in this thread, apart from that win against Bournemouth Liverpool haven't looked impressive at all. Leaky at the back and they were lucky to get that win against Newcastle I'd say.

Very lucky, ref will, give them four pens v Everton

You'll be sorry :D
Im hoping i catch the wave on Toney now everyone has binned him off . Leeds at home, Southampton away. If In that time Isak plays well and Toney doesn't then in comes Isak vs Bournemouth in the third fixture! It was hard saying no to Isak and a home debut but Palace is a tough fixture and they'll be keeping it tight. Leeds tend to be more attacking which would lead to chances for Toney. Im delving deep into my crystal ball here.

Odegaard I guess. He was a doubt for our match so possibly they won't risk him.
Huge game for Arsenal though. They will be playing their best 11 no doubt, but Odegaard tends to play deeper, more so than Martinelli and Jesus who i will end up starting with i think, like you say.

Not WCing this GW but would appreciate some help on choosing one of these moves @Dirty Schwein @Sandikan @CassiusClaymore @ooeat0meoo @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson and anyone else. Thanks!

Bus team:
Ramsdale
Trent, Cucu, Walker, Neco
Salah, Martinelli, Kulusevski
Jesus, Haaland, Toney

1.1m ITB.

Subs: Ward, Andreas, Patterson, Rodrigo

Options:
1. Patterson to Trippier. Bench Walker or Neco (I prefer benching Walker).
2. Walker to Trippier. Saves money and let's me get say Zaha next week. Especially if I am dropping Walker to bench this GW and he's playing Spurs next GW.
3. Rodrigo to Zaha/Gross/Trossard/Leeds Mid/MGW. Bench Neco/Walker. Then move Walker to Trippier next GW.
4. Roll with that bus team.

I personally prefer 1 or roll. I think keeping Walker can be useful in case of injuries instead of leaving the defensive subs completely bottom of the barrel. But not against 2 either to be a bit proactive (depends on how confident I am for starting Neco over Walker). For 3 not sure which option to pick and there's a lot of room of going wrong there. Trippier will be a long term hold.
Roll with the bus team mate

Roll with the bus team mate
Yeah that's an option. Just feel with WC coming into play soon I should be getting some short term high ceiling moves. Trips looks like someone I'd want given their next 7 odd games look great.

Ramsdale
Dunk, TAA, Cancelo, James
Salah, Martinelli, Diaz, Harrison
Jesus, Haaland

Subs: Ward, Williams, Andreas, Archer

Two questions:

Worth bringing in Pope for Ramsdale or roll the transfer?

Anyone I can drop for Williams?

@CassiusClaymore @Moby @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson @RDCR07 @anyone else

If you have nothing else to do can get in Pope. He's probably slightly better now and may get more save points. But a sideways move overall given the position.

Dunk or Harrison. Prob Dunk. Both Bou and Lei can't score (although Lei definitely have a better attack) but Neco has much better attacking threat. Dunk also good on set pieces.

Antony going straight in my team.

I bought him as well
But will probably not start him this GW as I already have Rashy, Martinelli, Jesus. Don't like to have 4 attacking players from the same match and one of them most probavly only with a cameo (Antony).

Not convinced there's enough underlying data/evidence to support this theory? Darwin might be exactly what Salah and Liverpool are missing?

A fairly mute point...Liverpool have had almost all their attacking success in recent seasons from their wide players.

I can't recall too many assists/chances created from Mssrs Fabinho and Henderson in recent seasons?

Of course there isn’t - they’ve played two games. There’s only gut instinct, small sample size of heatmaps and the eye test to rely on. From what I saw, and what is logic, Salah should drift more to the right to make room for Darwin. Could end up both ways, but I see Darwin as more clumpsy on the feet than Firmino so less assistance and less getting into central areas for Salah imo. Then they also have to adapt to each other which could take time. On paper that should be less output for Salah than before.

To quote Sesame Street… one of these things is not like the other

compared to some other models all those numbers seem quite high. If they are to be believed then roughly all those players total output in this GW should be the sum of all those numbers in the list. Not sure that’ll happen.

Can't decide between Harrison and Neco. I know whichever I go for, the opposite will be the correct one

Subbed in Rodrigo which was an amazing transfer given he broke a shoulder twenty mins in.

Switching in Sancho? Perhaps Gundogan?

May drop Martinelli for Estupinan? Maybe I'm backing United a little too much but we have looked pretty solid recently.

I wouldnt. Martinelli is the most productice player at Arsenal. Simply playing his best games currently

… and he’s facing Dalot

Bilva went up meaning I could stretch to Zaha now if needed.

A few options though.

Leave Bilva alone, great fixtures coming, may still play today etc. Always good to have 2 transfers for a future week.
Zaha in. Newcastle and us up next though.
Grob in, which would allow Rashy to Anthony if he shows signs of being a must have.
Something else, eg Harrison.

Sanchez
Espudian Walker Trippier James Trent
Salah xxx Harrison
Toney Haaland xxxx

Will play only one of Jesus/Martinelli. Jesus is more owned but Martinelli has that extra point if they do turn us over. I'm leaning on the mad move of benching Jesus. Really think we can do em and Jesus gets 2 points.

What do you reckon?

Foden or Bernardo today?

Silva better form but likely to play less minutes?

Foden good away from usually and more likely to play, but more £££ and worse long term option?

Yeah I wouldn't be putting Bilva in this week. I'm considering taking him out.

Tough one. If you got him recently might just ride this game out. He will start next game.

Yeah screw it. I'll leave it then have 2 transfers next week post Europe. Bound to be some issues that arise midweek.

Mendy
TAA Cancelo N.Williams Trippier
Martinelli Salah Diaz
Toney Jesus Haaland (c)

Bench : Andreas, Saliba, Dasilva
1 Ft. Any obvious moves I'm missing or should I just roll the transfer?
I'm binning Mendy after this game but can't take him out at home agains a very poor attacking side. I'm thinking we are scoring at least one on sunday so Williams comes in for Saliba.

feck it, I brought in Antony even though he won't be a point freak.

Went with:

Ramsdale
TAA Cancelo James Estupinan
Kulusevski Diaz Martinelli Trossard
Haaland (C) Toney

Bench: Ward Aaronson Jesus Neco

It feels so weird to be leaving out this bench but it also feels like I got the right players in… hopefully.

Banged a last minute transfer through.
Those always go well, right....right?

Said feck it, WC'd and went with this team :

Sanchez
Perisic Dalot James Cancelo
Diaz Gross Martinelli
Mitrovic Haaland Jesus

Bench : Henderson, Antony, N.Williams, Bilva.
Undecided on Dalot for N.Williams and Mitrovic or Jesus for Bilva.
