Foden, surely if you don't have him and have budget. Otherwise Kulu, or even Douglas Luiz or Neto for a cheaper option.

I like Jota a lot but he's not guaranteed playing time. Richarlison is the opposite of that where he's clueless in front of goal, no matter how many minutes he keeps getting.
Yes Foden is an alternative, but a little afraid of his playing time with KDB back and Pep is insane.
Leaning towards letting Sterling play this round and then have two FT for next round.

The last half a dozen posts illustrate why it's a terrible idea to wildcard.

So many meh options that you'll be wanting them out again in a few weeks.
No doubt
With everyone in the same boat, there are two choices... Take a hit on an extra transfer or bite the bullet with rolling an extra transfer and know that points will be scarce

His stats are by far and away the best and this is a United that were comfortably beaten by Bournemouth, West Ham and Forest. We are shite.

Brentford have also lost their last 5. I think he is worth a punt!
We’re not, we’re just on a very long unlucky run where the gods and refs conspire against us. And that ends now because…

That's a good strategy if you don't have Haaland already.

I myself have been very disciplined this season and had one -4 hit (Son for Gordon in GW17 and that was basically a week early) and am very reluctant to -4 into Haaland even for GW22.

Not thinking any further ahead than
this week - Gross IN for Salah
next week - Haaland IN for Archer

I have one free transfer (already had Bowen, he wasn't an early transfer) and not sure if I should just keep the team as is to have two free transfers next GW or take him or TAA out.

Areola
Saliba, TAA, Doughty
Bowen, Palmer, Foden, Saka, Gross
Alvarez, Watkins

Subs: Martinez, Solanke, Gusto, Porro

I'm tempted to see it out as there is a long time between the GWs. Any transfer options I should consider? I have £6.9m ITB

So I need to replace Salah and either TAA or Hwang, don't want to take a hit as should be able to field 11 even if it means bench fodder playing

Leaning towards the 2 midfielders so for me it's 2 out of Foden, Richarlison, Garnacho and Gross (already have Saka & Palmer)

My deep team strategy is paying off now. Even with TAA injured, Salah and Son gone I was able to field a team, though still swapped Salah for Odegaard. Can’t decide who to leave on the bench between Raul and Branthwaite, they both tend to get good points when I leave them out.

I think you take the -4. Estu is capable of crazy things and you will have something else that comes up over next two weeks.

Get it done and get him in because you will want him for their little run now.
Yeah I think I'm doing it. Kabore isn't nailed and currently on afcon.

I'll deal with getting Salah back when it's time.

Keen on Estu whom I'll be bringing in for sure.
But if I thought I could field 11 I might be tempted to not take a hit.

Think I'll do Taa to Estu and then Son to someone, contenders Garno, Rasho, etc.
Then Alvarez to Haaland next week having seen him back OK first.
Got (c) on Bruno :wenger:
Good luck and may your god go with you.

In a cunning plan I'm gonna start Bowen and leave Archer first on the bench as that's the only time the cnut ever scores any points.

According to Cretin we could be looking at doubles for City, Liverpool, Luton and Brentford in GW25 but then potential blanks for Liverpool, Luton, Spurs and Chelsea in 26. You'll probably want to navigate that with transfers as well because the bigger blank will be in GW29 as usual.

Ended up with this so far:

Areola
Gabriel Saliba Estu
Saka Palmer Gordon Foden
Toney Watkins Alvarez

Kept salah for now, and have 3.5 in the bank to try and maneuver haaland back when needed

I got

Areola
Cash - Andersen - Porro - Mykolenko
Bowen - Palmer - Gordon
Watkins - Haaland - Solanke

Subs: Leno, Salah, Hee Chan, Botman

Got two FT
thinking of replacing Salah and Hee Chan with Gross + Richarlison

what do you think?

I'm in a similar spot - a lot are going for Gross but seems to be based purely on favorable fixtures rather than his form

I'm leaning towards Richarlison & Garnacho

I am in steam mode because of super decision to cap Alvarez and bench Palmer last week so i bought Bruno and made him C.
If i am sinking, i will sink with United at least.:)
Made the exact same decision as you. Typical FPL. Going to captain Foden since options are severely limited.

Sold Gordon last week, bought him back this. Fixtures bad the next 2 weeks but he's there for the season now barring injury.

Salah + Bowen > Gordon + Palmer

Turner
Zinchenko Konsa Porro
Saka Gordon Palmer Richarlison Ward-Prowse
Haaland Watkins

Dubravka Archer Branthwaite Lascelles

So no one bringing Haaland in already, is it a certainty he's not playing/starting?

Team locked :

Areola
Saliba-Estu-Walker
Palmer-Sterling-Garnacho-Saka(c)
Solanke-Watkins-Alvarez

Dubravka-Porro-Diaby-Trippier
Damn. Have you wildcarded?
I'm down to bare bones with no one available on my bench this week - meanwhile you have the luxury of benching two of my starters!
That said I fancy Porro to pick up something against united.
