That will be the template move, most of us in the same boat.

Its just so strange doing a WC and filling up on players from those teams

Hear he out @Dirty Schwein

Wildcard this now...

Dubravka, Estu, Trippier, Porro, Hwang out for Neto, Senesi, Reguillon, Udogie, Barkley which reverses my -4 and leaves me starting

Neto
Gabriel Udogie Senesi
Saka Foden Son Bowen
Haaland Watkins Solanke

But with a playable bench at least of Barkley, Doughty, Reg rather than Estu in case Solanke is out.

Also I could roll in 28 if no issues or transfer in Morris/Adebayo for a full set.

What we saying?

Edit. Senesi could also be Saliba if I don't fancy the risk.

I’m looking at dead ending into 29 then wildcarding in 30…

Team A (now ) : Leno/Areola, Cash, Bowen, Watkins and Richarlison (out now, estimated return is 29) so 4-5. One tfr in per week gets me to 7-8… Spurs player in 27, Luton 28 (also gets DGW), Brentford 29

Thoughts? @Dirty Schwein @Sandikan @CassiusClaymore @anyonewhoplaysandnotintop500kOR

It works the same overall and if needed then makes sense, especially saving a -4.

I guess you run the risk of players getting injured and Senesi could be an issue if he gets booked. But sometimes, you just gotta take the risk I suppose!

Makes perfect sense and that was similar to my original plan. Although, you might want to consider WC in GW31 once you look at the fixtures in GW30.

It is. And I was still looking to WC to clear the shite after the blank but the injuries have wrecked it. I've kept Rich and Porro for ages and neither look like they'd play. Also no other fixtures dropping whatsoever means it's either FH or WC to get through this nightmare.

It's not great really and WCing before the final layout for 34/37 is clear will end up with hits during those weeks.

If you have FH then GW34 is irrelevant. That leaves you having to navigate GW37, which you should be able to easily with transfers.

This has happened many teams before, ending up WCing earlier than the main DGW and thinking we'd use transfers. But that is the time of the season when things really end up out of control in terms of teams going out of title race, other things to play for etc and chips are easily more powerful to counter the chaos that happens at that stage. I said before that the best GW for FH for me is 37 because you've no clue even in 31 which player will be the right asset then and you can absolutely shoot up the ranks (KDB 90 points on TC came in 37?) with chips. Plus less games are left so hits rarely pay off.

If it wasn't for the Spurs mess I'd have saved the WC and FH for after that week. Let's see what the main 29 assets end up as. WCing with Luton west ham Bournemouth players and then scrambling to get all the big names from city Liverpool arsenal while they continue smashing points makes me feel ugh

Fair points but my WC keeps Saka & Saliba, adds Gabriel, keeps Son, leaves easy route back to Haaland & Salah... I genuinely don't see any issues except missing Foden. Might have to find a way to get him actually.

Transferred in son for Richarlison but if Solanke doesn’t play, that’ll leave me with Garnacho against city. Can’t get Bowen. How’s a punt on paqueta or JWP for Garnacho ?

Definitely not a fan of the week 28 wildcard just for the key players you're doing without and everyone knows how best laid plans can work.
You've got a decent amount of 29ers.

Exactly this. People are over egging this point. I might even keep Haaland in mine.

What the hell happened to GW 29  I played a FH last gameweek because I had some Liverpool and Chelsea players. I'm proper fecked now

Gone Alvarez > Toney. Alaverez benched last week, hope that continues, Toney playing in 29.

Still planning on FH for 29 but he's there now if I change my mind.

Neto
Doughty Gabriel Saliba
Foden Palmer Douglas Luiz Saka (vc)
Toney Watkins Haaland (c)

That's been known about for months  Not exactly who wouldn't be playing but 29 is FA Cup weekend so only those teams who are out can play. Up until the FA Cup matches this past midweek there were only 3 confirmed fixtures for 29 which were all known since the end of January, now we have 4. Everyone's been monitoring this for ages, predicting which teams would still be in the cup and therefore which matches would be off in 29 and planning accordingly!

Using my FH for 29.

Can't find a way to bring Son in at all unless it's for KDB or Foden which seems like madness when they've an easy game v us tomorrow
I have the same dilemma. Normally I wouldn't hesitate to bring in Son for Foden but our defence can't be trusted at all.

So you not using your WC?

Nah holding my knees for once with the news that Dom has a good chance to play. Will have more info next week to attack the double with the right players and I have a feeling Foden might haul again tomorrow. Always more annoying taking out players that haul than deciding not to bring someone in.

I had zero intention of wild carding this week but someone ( Cassius ? ) posted a draft WC team here and i needed something for my Fanteam squad as we only get 2 WC chips there and GW29 was looking really bad.

So i tweaked it somewhat and gone that way on FT .. ( had the exact money to do it too so that's a good omen surely ?)

But now i like the idea so much, ive gone and done the same thing on FPL.

Good luck. Don't blame me if it goes tits up though

Hwang doesn't go to Son.
And I have Maguire and Lascelles injured/not starting, with Estu an annoying doubt still.

I might need to bring the Bournie defender Senesi? in as my transfer today for Lascelles.
Boring but probably a decent bet.

Would it be mad to bin Haaland off for Solanke's double next week, then use the money to bring in Son and Salah in 30, going without Haaland for the rest of the season?

Midfield would be Saka, Son, Salah + 1 other
Toney Solanke Watkins up front

Could go for KDB instead of 1 of Son or Salah too.

Neto - Coufal Gabriel Reguilon - Saka KDB Palmer Foden - Haaland Solanke Watkins

Kudus, Doughty, Pinnock, Areola on bench.

Right players playing? Saving my FT for next week and going to try and dead-end into GW29 with having 7-8 players playing.
Plan would be KDB to Son, Pinnock to a playing defender and then likely Solanke or Palmer out after GW28.
Should hopefully leave me with

Areola - Coufal Reguilon Doughty (PlayingDefender) - Kudus Son (PlayingMID) , Watkins

Then wildcarding for GW30.

No it wasn't, they hadn't changed the fixtures till recently.

I asked another friend, he said you have to follow people on Twitter or YouTube who analyze fixtures. This is what's annoying with FF now a days, it's become too competitive with people doing hyper analysis. Takes too much time, removes the fun.

Oh well, let's see what happens.
