Personally, I don't see the funny side. Completely unprofessional. That's someone's career.
Usually I'd agree but its Lazio so its funny. Feck those fascists.Personally, I don't see the funny side. Completely unprofessional. That's someone's career.

Eintracht Frankfurt deny claims they gave Lazio the wrong email address when negotiating about Filip Kostic. Instead, Lazio forgot the letter "K“ in the address when they emailed their offer.
Well that looks as if it finally explains why I was constantly receiving Italian spam e-mails yesterday!Tweet

I sent an innocent dick pick to that address and based on the absolute smut I got back I have to say that @JPRouve is quite simply a wrong un.
Great wank though. Cheers.
Presumably they asked to see the screenshots the agent had taken and spotted the error. How would they know?
If this is half the story, I would love to read the other halfI'm surprised how eager people are to believe this. Why would Frankfurt do such a thing? It's not like they could have expected to fool Kostic for more than a few days and it would make them look really unprofessional to the whole world, especially Kostic's agents, who have one of the bigger agencies and have done a lot of business with Frankfurt over the past couple of years.
I think it's more likely that Di Marzio is reporting rubbish (like he often does these days) or that this is only half the story at best.
.conEmailing a transfer bid.
At least it's an upgrade on faxing.
Should have noticed it was bids @ eintractfrankfurt.comm instead of com.
Well yeah, but I replied to your comment aboute emails receiving a response quicky, which in my working experiene is almost never the case. If its deadline day, of course you start making phonecalls when the due time is closing, everyone gets that, but before that, replies are either: Immediate because I happened to be at my computer then, or whenever I get back to you.If I was doing a multi million euro transaction with a deadline I would be fired if the only excuse I had was they sent me the wrong email address. I would send the email. Wait an hour then resend asking if they got it. Wait. No response? Id ring. Hi Frankfurt Its Bob in Lazio finance. Did you get my emails? In the meantime I would be on the phone to the agent, my recruitment team - hey Im not getting any response from Frankfurt. Id do all sorts. Its how business is handled when multi million transactions are in play.
Yeah, isn't just going to end up in court, perhaps with a hefty consequence and the player getting his move anyway? Can they be sued?
If this is half the story, I would love to read the other half

Maybe they are more comfortable with email due to the language barriers.
And they couldn't just pick up the phone.
The tweet says Lazio admitted it, so thats quite funnyHow would they know?
I am sure they did this at some point. It just happened that Frankfurt in the meantime said in public that there is no offer.
And they couldn't just pick up the phone.
I presume they have people who can speak multiple languages for theses scenarios.Maybe they are more comfortable with email due to the language barriers.
Didn't notice there is no K in Italian till nowWhen Lazio originally emailed their offer last week, it was sent to eintrachtfranfurt.de instead of eintrachtfrankfurt.de
However, the letter 'K' in question does not exist in the Italian alphabet, and Lazio sent another mail explaining that they were having problems drawing up the correct offer only for the transfer window to close before a compromise could be reached amid reports the Serie A side were not ready to meet the asking price for Kostic.
So who were they trying to buy? Ostic?Emails to wrong address bounce back
2. Frankfurt came back saying
Didn't notice there is no K in Italian till now
Next window Madrid bid for Pogba, Woodward send them transfers@manchestercity.com to forward the offer.
Someone opens a fake domain and sends wire details, Juve wires 120M to someone in Barbados
They printed Lukakus jersey abroadIf theres no K in Italy then how come did Lukaku get his name printed. How about Burger King, they do have Burger King. How about Kevin Lasagna? I call bollochs.
That K but is nonsense. The letter K doesn't occur in etymologically Italian words, but they do have it in loanwords and names. Plus it will feature in its regular spot in Italian keyboards. Since language is more interesting than anything, here's the Wikipedia entry that I know everyone is aching to read:Emails to wrong address bounce back

Yes I'm fun at parties. Everybody loves a good factoid. The letters J (I lunga 'long I'), K (cappa), W (V doppia or doppia V 'double V'), X (ics) and Y (ipsilon or I greca 'Greek I') are used only in loanwords, proper names and archaisms, with few exceptions.[citation needed]
(...)
The letter ⟨k⟩ is not in the standard alphabet and exists only in unassimilated loanwords, although it is often used informally among young people as a replacement for ⟨ch⟩, paralleling the use of ⟨k⟩ in English (for example, ke instead of che).
Not to mention that it was a pretty ridiculous claim to begin with..It's funny how most posters will likely keep laughing at Frankfurt and ignore the tweet clarifying the situation. If anyone was wondering how fake news works - that's it. Just be there first; a lot of people will never check back.
If it seems too ridiculous to be true... then let's run with it, cause it's hilarious and I want to believe this! Not to mention that it was a pretty ridiculous claim to begin with..
Laughing at Frankfurt or laughing at the whole thing? It's funny how most posters will likely keep laughing at Frankfurt
Laughing at Frankfurt as the crazies in this. I agree that the situation as a whole is funny - just like the fax machine story of De Gea. (No matter what's true and who was to blame for what happened.)Laughing at Frankfurt or laughing at the whole thing?
Btw did Lazio say anything after Frankfurt's version?
So Di Marzio (who is very good with Italian clubs) reported Frankfurt gave wrong email, Frankfurt said they sent mail to wrong email or they missed some letter.Laughing at Frankfurt as the crazies in this. I agree that the situation as a whole is funny - just like the fax machine story of De Gea. (No matter what's true and who was to blame for what happened.)
Lots of things may have happened, but in general, the idea that a club would give out a wrong e-mail address on purpose to try and stall the process sounds ridiculous - if only because it's unlikely to work. (You'd get an error message as the sender, you can just call, you can contact the agent, etc.) Also, how would they give the wrong address? They'd have to have had a working way of communicating already to do that.So Di Marzio (who is very good with Italian clubs) reported Frankfurt gave wrong email, Frankfurt said they sent mail to wrong email or they missed some letter.
Did Lazio say anything after that? If they said and agreed that they missed a letter in email then fair enough, if not Why should we believe Frankfurt story when they have lot to lose and have all the reasons to twist the story? For all we know, it might be a cover up story.
Again if Lazio acknowledges the whole thing then fair enough.
